Patrick Hourican, three years's soldier in Captain Gabrial Long's Company of detached riflemen commanded by Colonel Daniel Morgan.  This regiment was organized in June, 1777 and was composed of men selected from the army at large.  Discharged in August, 1779.

Lincoln Militia of Captain Simon Kenton on Actual Service on an expedition against enemy Indians under the command of General Clark.  These men were taken from the regular Virginia Army.  Thirty days service 1782.
