| This guitar started out as a Fender Telecaster MIM (Made In Mexico) Squier series, that I purchased for $139.00 at a local Guitar Center. The MIM Squires were the forerunners of the current MIM Fender standards, and this one played great, sounded excellent, and was way too cheap to pass up. I took it home and spent some quality time replacing the switch and pots, and rewiring it into an Esquire*, with a mother of toilet seat pickguard.
