Teacher dies of dengue in city

Tofail Ahmed, lecturer at the Department of Mathematics of Dhaka Residential Model College, died of dengue fever at Comfort Hospital in the city yesterday.

Tofail Ahmed (30), son of late Fazlur Rahman of Gennoi village under Gouripur union in Daudkandi upazila of Comilla district died at 10.15 am. His body was taken to Dhaka Residential Model College and his Namaz-e-Janaza was held there, according to a press release.

Tofail left behind his wife, mother, four brothers and sisters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

A special doa and munajat will be held at the college mosque after Asr prayers on September 8 for salvation of the departed soul.
