Professor Dr Ahsanul Haq of DU English Department inaugurated the drive at a programme on the campus. UNB chairman Aman Ullah Khan was present as chief guest.

Dengue Prevention Committee with the help of Shapla, a mass education and welfare organisation, arranged the member collection drive, said a press release.

Various leaflets with different anti-dengue slogans were distributed among the members of the public after the inaugural programme.
