A total of 43 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals and clinics in Dhaka, Chittagong and Khulna yesterday, according to the control room of the Directorate of Health Services.

Of them, eight were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, one to Mitford Hospital, three to BIRDEM Hospital, four to Dhaka Shishu Hospital, one to Holy Family Red Crescent Hospital, two to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital, eight to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, one to Ibne Sina Clinic, six to Bangladesh Medical College Hospital, three to Monwara Hospital, four to Khulna Medical College Hospital and two to Khulna Sadar Hospital.

With these, a total of 4835 dengue patients have so far been admitted to different hospitals and clinics. Of them, 134 are still being treated while the rest have been discharged after treatment. 84 persons have died so far, sources added.
