Rules and Joining
Joining the war is easy if you know your roleplaying. But first you have to follow the rules of the Ganon's Tower Message Board, created by Dan. Next, you have to follow the rulez of the RPG Forum. Only then will we even be able to look at you in terms of roleplaying.

Well, I'm in a role-playing mood. How about you? Yes, let's revive our old friend, the GT War. We can still carry this thing out.
Anyone else interested?
The only problem is, though, and I did discuss this with a few other members of the war, is people who can't role-play too well. At first anyone could just jump in and post, but, well, we have many people here now, and many of the people think they can role-play, when well, they can't. I'm not saying any names, lol. So I've created a system to control that. PM me.
1) Give me your character's name, profile, history, and if possible a picture. That way we can find a good way to work you into the plot. This is the format.
Name:
Age:
Sex:
Appearance:
Weapons:
Equipment:
Fighting Style:
Personality:

History: (It doesn't have to be a full history. I can understand if you would like to have few details about your characters past revealed, so that we can slowly uncover the characters secrets has the story progresses, but I need to know at least a few details.)
2) Give me the names of role-plays at GT that you think you do your best in. In other words, you have to have role-playing experience to be in, and I have to know which role-play you think is the best example of how you role-play.
3) Tell me if you have ever been warned about anything from a mod in an RPG.

If you have been a member of the war before we had changed it so only an elite few may enter, and you weren't active right before the war died, and if you wouldn't have gotten passed our joining process, then you have to have atleast 20 posts to be allowed in. However, we may allow you in under special circumstances, like you may have a limited number of posts before someone kills you and you're gone for good.

Oh, and I'll send your application right back if you don't make a good impression on me with it. Be kind, respectful, and remember I probably won't even finish it the moment I find a grammar error. We don't want the war dumbed down.

This is what we're looking for in a member:
Intelligence: More then just grammar knowledge. Yes, we won't even consider you if you can't spell, but we'd like you to know what you're talking about before you post. Example, if your character uses a Colt Python, I don't want to see him shooting grenade rounds out of it. If you ever ask whom to contact to join the war, chances are I'll delete your PM as soon as you finally get it to me. Please also remember that this doesn't mean you can't have a character that is a little slow, just that you can't be a little slow yourself. The only exception being myself, heh.^_^
Role-playing skills: You have to be able to know how to role-play. I shall not go on to explain what this means, because if you can really role-play, then you know.
Comedy: Yes, it's a very dramatic story, but the war is famous for having some witty humor. We don't want you to dumb down the plot with jokes, however. Think along the lines of Mega Tokyo, only just a little less funny and a little bit more plot, and then you'll see where we want you to be.
Friendly-ness: Being able to get along with the other members, especially the ones that have been here the longest . . . aw hell, we need you to at least not be so obnoxious that Sami bites your head off.
Remember, following of the forum rules is a must. If you don't follow the rules, or, well, spam, you're going to be kicked out of the thread. That is, after you break the rules a few times. One strike and you're out. We'll find a good way to explain your disappearance from the war, don't worry. Like a cow will fall from the sky and crush you. Or something.
(Yes, I don't want to have to have these types of rules, but we need someway to make sure characters are relevant to the storyline and don't cornify it. That's my job. ^_^)

We're going to continue from where we left off.
