| Pink
I hate the color pink, but let me tell you why It isnt because of little girls who scream and cry Nor is it those teens who goss-up and just look dumb Its not even because I feel the need to be glum Nope. I hate pink because it laughs at me You ask why and how; well, its plain enough to see: Pink is from my childhoodmy favorite color then But, everything began to change round year ten My body transitioned slowly from child to adult Late bloomer, but they said I would like the result No longer could I enjoy the things I once had as a kid Biologically impossible; some things were forbid Pink was but one thing that I had to leave behind Along with my innocence and naivety of mind Now, to see the color pink, my heart breaks a bit inside For I remember back, before the child within me died |
