If you're wondering why I, Sadie, chose the alias of "PrettyElf," just know that it was during the Lord of the Rings craze, which I am very happy to say I got caught up in (and am still quite caught up in, to speak the truth). :) I fashioned myself the beautiful, graceful, and immortal elf, as an antithesis to what I thought I was truly and also as the ideal of what I wanted to become.
I wish I could prove myself to you without entirely sacrificing my anonymity. There-in lay the difficulty in choosing my title (and persona) for this site in the first place... I wanted a name that my online friends would recognize, that I could tell my real-world friends about, and that would still confuse complete strangers.
Most people know that I am a Christian girl, I enjoy writing poetry a great deal, I have been playing the flute since the fourth grade, and I live in South Orange County, California.
I began writing poetry at the age of eleven, and have been writing ever since, but you won't find those really early ones here. ;)
I wish that I could tell you more, but for those of you who know me, I'm sure you didn't even need this feeble proof to be sure that this was me.
