PV: The rawest type of lyrics. Nice. Alright, I don't want to take all your time up, so only a few more questions. What's next for Broken Stone? A new tour, back to the writing block?
BS: It's all good, we dont mind! A little bit of both; we just released our CD and promotion is always an ongoing process. We want to tour as much as possible but still want to keep the creative energy flowing.
PV: So do you have a guilty music pleasure? Winger? Hilary Duff? Any?
BS: Isiah is really into country and I know Dave likes Kelly Clarkson. The rest of us; I'm not sure.
PV: I'm a secret Meatloaf worshipper.
BS: Nice.
PV: Oh, yes.
BS: Haha.
PV: Haha. If the band was stranded on a desert island and each of you could only bring one thing, what do you think each of you would bring? Water and food doesn't count.
BS: Dave would bring Everquest, I would bring an acoustic to help pass time , and the other 3 would bring a whole lot of smoke. Thats a good question!
PV: Haha, thanks. Alright, last question. How does the band feel about being from Indiana (which isn't known for it's 'rocking' music scene) and making it somewhere? Is it a bigger pride feeling? Or is it just another state?
BS: It is just another state, but, like you said, doesn't have the best rock scene. We try to play here as much as we can, but prefer to play outside of the state becuase of the response we have gotten so far. Hopefully the scene here will grow, and any hand we have in making that happen would be awesome.
PV: Very cool. Well good luck with it. Whenever you come around the Terre Haute area to play...let me know. I'll check it out.
BS: Sounds good. Thanks so much! We're actually in Terre Haute December 10th at the Legacy.
PV: I'll bring a posse with me to check you guys out too. I'll do my part in helping with the fan base, Haha.
BS: Haha, awesome. Look forward to it.
PV: For sure. Well thanks Chris. We appreciate it! =D
BS: Sure thing!
