| Fly
Oh to fly To fly on Ravens wings Away to the Netherworld Taken to the Summerland To the warm gentle breeze Walking hand in hand Walking with The Lady The Earth Mother Oh to change To change into the light Leave the shell behind Battered bruised and broken Electric pain rock the back And legs scream out in pain Leave the pain and sorrow The creaming racing thought Oh to fly To fly on Ravens wings Is she calling to me now I am ready to go to her I am ready to fly now Ready to change into the light Ready for the Summerland Ready for the warm healing sun Jason Kirchner 2005 |
| Fields
I want to walk in the fields of wheat with the sun shining on my face and the cool wind blowing through my hair. I can't see the sun. The dark clouds block out all light. Standing in the shadows with my back against the wall I can see the light that heals. The great golden light from the heavens that warms the soul and heals the heart. The path is broken. The stairs from the bowels of hell have fallen. My heart bleeds at the thought of never returning to the light. I climb. The walls of the pit are rough cannot get a toehold. I fall back. I climb. I can see the sun shining on the fields. I climb. I can see the sun shining on the fields. I climb. I know there is a path but cannot find it. My hand it finds a grip. I climb. Cannot see the top the edge of the pit. The hand grows weary. I fall. Get up! I cannot find the strength to climb or to face the darkness. I climb. Am I alone in the pit? Alone in the bowels of hell the pit of darkness. I reach out for help. HE sends angels. Some are know to me. Others come from afar. They call to me from the edge of the pit. Can they reach me? I want to walk in the sunny fields of wheat with the sun shining on my face and the cool wind blowing gently through my hair. Jason Kirchner 2004 |
