Preston Pierce is currently a student at the University of North Texas where he is majoring in jazz studies and studies with Oscar Garza. During school holidays and summer breaks you can find Pierce playing regularly with groups out of Corpus Christi such as Ritmo Caribe, Latin Talk, and Combo Sensual. Before attending college Pierce had the opportunity to tour around the state of Ceara in Brasil where he was able to experience working with professional musicians for the first time. Pierce has also had the opportunity to play with jazz legends Bobby Shew and Ed Shaughnessy. |
