Today Preston got his first hair cut!! He looks like such a big boy! He didn't like it all that much and I had to use m&ms to get him to sit still but it looks so super cute!! We got a little certificate saying he got his first hair cut at First choice hair cutters and we even got it for free because it was his first ever. Mommy was a little sad to see it go but now he looks like my little man!

Wow have we ever been busy!! I find it hard to get time to come on here and update the sites. Preston loves to try and type and play on the computer so I have to fight him off while typing, it's a pain in my butt!! But he is doing great he is a chatter box!! He loves to try and copy you and everything you say. He can say quite a few things now that I can't even name them all. He is a pro walker now when he does walk, most of the time he is running. We are working on walking in real shoes though he has a tough time walking in shoes with hard souls. Preston no longer has bottles and hasn't since I came home from the hospital and he was sick. It was super easy and pain less to take them away because he was sick and wasn't aloud to have any milk so he didn't get any bottles for the week he was really sick and was just having his sippy cup with water or juice. So when he got better I decided not to even offer the bottles back since he hadn't had them in over a week and he doesn't even miss them. We took Preston out to play in the snow the other day and he wasn't really sure about it. He liked to walk around in it because it makes a crunching sound under his feet but he is a chicken and cried and was scared when we tried to pull him around in the sled. We have figured out that Preston is allergic to eggs. Last night I made him french toast and he broke out in a huge rash and was super itchy. He isn't that bad if its small amounts like in baking but he can't have straight full on egg.  Other then that nothing else really new and exciting happening we are just really busy with the new baby and playing. Preston is a busy little boy and loves to just pull everything out and play with it.

Prestons had his second Halloween he dressed up as a frog and looked so darn cute!! We went out trick or treating and he got lots of candy when we got back we let him dive in and have some candy he loved it!! Preston little sister showed up on October 28th and we were are so excited. Mommy had to stay in the hospital so Nana stayed with Preston and he loved it!! When mommy came home he was a little mad at mommy but loves his new little sister. He loves to hold her and touch her. He can say her name "Abby" and "baby" its super cute!! His Nana also taught him to put his finger to his lips and say "shhh" when the baby is sleeping. Preston has been really sick for the past few days he can't keep anything down and has had diarrhea poor little man but hopefully he is over it now and is on his way to getting better.

YAY!! Hes a year old!! Today Preston turned a year. I can't believe it, it has gone by so fast!! We had Prestons Auntie Corrine uncle Joe and cousin Maddy over for dinner and just hung out.

Prestons got his 16th tooth!! the right hand canine finally broke through!! Now he doen't have to worry about teething again till he gets his 2 year molars because he has a full set now!! YAY!!

On the weekend we went over a visited Prestons Auntie and Uncle for Thanksgiving. Preston granny and grandpa also came up for the day and dinner. It was great Preston had a great time playing with cousin Liam they can actually play together now and had a great time! Preston also likes his cousin Lexus he loves to look at her and wants to touch her. Preston had his first birthday cake on Sunday his granny made it for him it was a bear and very cute! He loved it and ate every last crumb of his piece. Last night as I was brushing Preston teeth and I notice he got yet another new tooth, its the bottom left cuspid! I can't believe it he only needs one more to come through and he will have all the ones he supposed to get till his 2 year molars. It wont be long before the last one pops through I can see that its trying to come up and should be through in a few days.

Today I flipped Preston upside down and when he smiled I noticed 2 new teeth!! I didn't realize that they had come in!! They are his 2 top cuspids! So now he has all his teeth on the top other then his 2nd molars and first permanent molars. They must have been coming up for a few days because there is quite alot of tooth up already. I just can't believe it!!

Preston is getting the walking thing down now. He can take 6 or 7 steps, so it wont be long before he is off and running. He is also cutting yet another tooth!! Yes another one I can't believe it he almost has a mouthful.

Preston took his first step last night! He was standing in the living room and the cat walked by and he took one step towards her! Then tonight he took another step so he is learning and I don't think it will be long before he gets the hang of it!

Preston now can say another word!! He says "HOT" It is so super cute!! and he will blow trying to cool things off but he blows up not forward! Pretty soon he is going to be a little chatter box. He is trying to copy everything you say and make the word. He is so smart!!

Today our mom and me started up again and Preston loved playing with all the kids. He was right in there with all the older kids having a great time. Tonight daddy and mommy decided to paint the living room and daddy left the lid off the paint can and Preston got into it. He had his hand covered in paint and a big mouth full. It scared mommy and daddy and they phoned the poison center but because it was water based paint and he really didn't get that much that there wasn't anything to worry about.

Preston finally got his front tooth so now he has all 4! And that makes 12 teeth!! Its the bottom left second one. The other three have been in for a long time and I was starting to wonder when he was going to get the fourth.

Preston has yet another tooth!! This makes 10!! Its the bottom 1st molar and the one on the other side is coming up as well it will probably break through in a few days if not tomorrow and that will be 11!! Man he almost has them all!!

Today Preston turned 10 months!! Crazy only 2 more months and he will be a year!! It doesn't seem like he's been here that long!! He is such a little monster and is always on the go now He doesn't stop and is into everything that he shouldn't be. He is a handful and keeps his mommy running 24 7. He's always getting into or looking for trouble. He is so smart that he amazes me sometimes. He goes and plays in the cat food and if I tell him no I will give his hand a tap if he doesn't listen and he doesn't like that but he will then go and get a toy or something to stick in the cat food so he is thinking well its not my hand so she can't get mad. He is such a little bugger!! But we love him to death and he is so much fun to have around and sometimes you can't help but laugh at him! He has become such a mommies boy lately and wont let me leave him if I start to leave the room he will cry and crawl after me, its kind of cute but getting old and we need to put a stop to it!! He has also started to throw temper tantrums if he doesn't get his way or doesn't like what's going on he will throw a fit he will lay down and scream!! He is our little brat and knows how to get things done and his way! He is turning into such a big boy and continues to amaze us with all he knows and learns. Today we also found out that Preston is going to have a little sister! So he will get to be the over protective big brother I can't wait!!

Prestons 9th tooth came in!! Its the other back one on his right side on the top!! I can't believe it!! He almost has a mouthful!!

Today Preston completed his swimming lessons! He loved them and had a great time every time we went. I'm going to continue to take him to the pool because he loves it so much. So the next level he will go into will be Duck he completed Starfish! I also took Preston to the doctor today for his 9 month check up I know I'm a month late OOPS!! He is doing great though!! He weighs 22lbs 10oz and is 29.5 inches long!! TALL just like his mommy!!

Today I noticed that Preston cut another tooth!! This makes 8! Its even one of his back ones on the left hand side on the top!! Man are they ever coming in fast! The one on the other side should be in any day now!

Today Preston and I started our mom and me swimming lessons!! He loved it!! Anything to do with the water he loves! It was lots of fun!
 

Yesterday Ryan came home from work early so we decided because it was so hot to take Preston to the beach! He absolutely loved it!! He was right into the water and was splashing and having a great time playing in the sand. I think Preston might have eaten half the beach though he kept putting sand in his mouth! I thought that he might be scared at first but he wasn't at all! It was so cute to see him playing and having such a good time I can't wait to go back!
 

Today I took Preston to get weighed he was 22 lbs 14oz!! Our big man!! Hes hasn't gained very much lately probably because of all the moving he is doing and is starting to burn off some of his baby fat! Preston has started saying his first real word!! DUCK!! It is so cute!! and he knows exactly what it is when ever he sees a rubber duck now he says duck! Smart little man!!
 

For the past few days now Prestons Auntie Rhiannon has been staying and visiting us! Its been great, Preston just loves her!! And thinks she is one of the coolest people alive! Today Prestons 7th tooth finally came through! Its the bottom right one!! Pretty soon hes going to have a mouth full!! He has been really good even with getting his tooth and its been really hot but he isn't fussy! He is such a good little boy!
 

Yesterday Preston turned 9 months old!! I can't believe it!! He is such a big boy now and changing! Only 3 more months and he will be a year! That is just pure craziness!! This has probably been the fastest year of my life, it doesn't seem like he has been here that long but we've enjoyed and continue to enjoy every minute of it!! Well last night Preston and I got home form Castlegar we had been there for a week. My mom came and got us on Saturday and then Ryan came and brought us home yesterday. We had a great little vacation! We didn't do much I just took it easy and really just sat around and enjoyed not having to do everything with Preston. On Wednesday Prestons 6th tooth came in the right front one finally came through! He now looks like he has a full top mouth full of teeth. And will they stop!! He has two molars that look like they are coming through and the bottom right one is starting to come as well. Poor little guy I can't wait till they are all in. The 6th one was giving him some grief and made him a little ill and throwing up so hopefully the rest will be easy. Preston is totally on the move and everywhere!!! He is a crawling machine and is a quick little bugger!! He is into everything and want to see it all!! While we were in Castlegar he mastered going up stairs and now love to climb them so we have to get a gate for the top and bottom!! He loved being at my moms house and playing with the dog and cat well more like torturing them but he thinks its playing! Stupid me forgot the camera at home so took no pictures the whole time I was down and was kinda bummed about that but oh well. Preston is now totally off formula and onto regular cows milk! We started him on it on Friday and he had no allergic reaction so we weaned him onto it totally!! He loves it and loves to drink his bottles!! It is supposed to be nice here all week so hopefully Preston and I will get to spend some time out in the pool!!
 

Preston has been so busy lately!! He has mastered crawling and is now all over the place!! He got his 5th tooth the other day and it looks like the sixth is on its way as well as maybe one more. We have been trying to get Preston to sleep through the night for the past few days and hopefully soon he will have the trick and be doing it! He has figured out how to stand in his crib and its so cute!! He wants to stand on everything! He is discovering what the stairs are and was up on the first stair today, he was trying to get the cat so now we need a gate for the bottom! He loves his cats and thinks its great when he can get close enough to get a handful they have swatted him a few times but still no scratches soon enough though. Other then that Preston has just been keeping me super busy and doesn't sit still!! We are going down to Castlegar to stay for a week and I can't wait to have a little time to relax!!

Man Preston is growing like crazy!! He now got his 4th tooth and is trying to get a few more in. They are really cute! For the past week Preston has been sick!! He has a runny nose and a bad cough. I took him to see the doctor but he said that it was just a cold. The poor little guy is having trouble sleeping and drinking his bottle. I feel so bad for him and I hope he gets over it soon! But he is still our happy little boy and it seems only to bother him at night. I took Preston to get weighed on Tuesday and he weighed 22lbs so hasn't gained anything which is ok because he is becoming more active. And man is he ever becoming more active! He has figured out how to get from his belly to sitting and is on his way to mastering crawling. He took a break from it when he first figured it out and didn't crawl but now he is trying really hard to get it down and is really close. Look out here he comes!!! Last night Preston got up (what a shock he didn't sleep through the night hehehe) and when I went in to get him he was sitting up in his crib! It was so cute! That was the first time he had actually sat up usually he just rolls around and cries. He is also trying to get into standing without using anything to pull up on. He can stand but can't get his hands off the ground he looks like a prehistoric man but it wont be long. He is just growing up so fast and learning everything he can!! He is turning into a little boy. And for a little boy we needed a boy bed and my mom got him one!! Its a race car bed but he wont be in it yet for a while but I can't wait!!

We had a great weekend this past weekend down in Castlegar, Preston got to go and visit all his family! He is learning so much everyday and doing new things all the time! While we were down in Casltegar Preston leant to clap his hands and he crawled forward for the first time!! He would only show his Nana him clapping for the first little bit and wouldn't do it in front of me then we were playing patty cake and he did it!! I was so proud of him! Preston also took his first crawling steps while we were down and boy did he ever look funny!! He only went forward a few steps I guess I'll call them or crawls whatever but it wont be long now till he has the hang of it and is motoring all over. Preston also broke through a new tooth his top right one next where his front one will be. So that makes 3 teeth!! He is working on a few more he has 3 others that look like they are close to coming through and he has been so good and not fussy at all with them. He just had a full weekend! He has also perfected waving on Wednesday before we went down he waved on his own but now he does it all the time when you tell him to say bye bye or hi and wave at him he will wave back! It is so cute! He is such a clever boy!!! We just had such a great time I didn't want to come home!! We celebrated Ryans first Fathers day on Sunday, we didn't do much Ryan slept in and then we went down to Prestons granny and grandpas for dinner it was a nice time! Now we are back home we are just taking it easy and the weather is supposed to be nice so Preston will be spending lots of time in his pool with mommy.
 

8 MONTHS OLD!!! Wow how the days have just flown by!! Preston is already 8 months it is just incredible. He is just such a joy to have in our lives! He is growing up so fast and learning new things everyday!! He is doing something all the time and is a busy little man already!

I haven't updated in a long time!! Preston doesn't sit still log enough for me to do it anymore so I have to try and get it done while he's sleeping and that's when I try and tend to my mess of a house but I will try and keep more up to date. Well the past week or so has been really busy! Last Friday Preston girlfriend Emma and her mommy took a day trip to Kelowna to come a visit. It was nice we did a little shopping and just hung out. Preston and Emma are the cutest and will be so cute together when they get older. On Monday I took Preston and got him weighed he weighs a whopping 22lbs!! So he is doing great in the growing department. Then on Wednesday Prestons granny and Grandpa came up for a visit and Preston was on his best behavior he was so good the whole time even for having little sleep! Prestons granny and grandpa brought him tons of stuff!! Granny made him a new pair of pjs, shorts and bought him a shirt to match she also got him another shirt they are all so very cute! They also got him a big fire truck that has mega blocks inside (he really likes it and turns it over and plays with the wheels) We all went into town on Thursday and I bought Preston his first pair of sandals because the poor kid had no shoes that fit hehehe. They are really cute!! On Friday night we had to take Ryan in to the hospital because he was making me bacon and eggs and cut his finger pretty bad and had to get 9 stiches it was right at Prestons bed time but he could tell his daddy was in pain because all he wanted to do was go to Ryan and he was so good the whole time in the hospital he just sat quietly with me. All the nurses and doctors thought he was just so cute and they all came around to see him. Then this weekend was Lumby days and on Saturday we took Preston to see his first parade (He was scared at first of the fire trucks because it was loud  but then got used to it and ended up really enjoying it and waving his arms and screeching) They were throwing out freezies and Preston got one and loved it he had more on him then in his mouth I think. Then we took him and  walked around the fair he loved looking at all the kids and people we watched the remote control cars and he thought they were the best! Preston also got to play his first game at a fair he picked little fishes out of the pond and won a Nemo stuffy, he did it all by himself without our help Ryan just held him up. (He has lots of ducks in his tubby so has practiced picking them up tehe) It was a great time and Preston was so good! Then yesterday Prestons uncle Darren and auntie Jodi came over and we went back to the fair and watched some more shows. We watched the motor cross and Preston loved it he thought they were so neat! Preston also got to pet all the miniature animals which he liked doing! He had a busy weekend and he was so good all weekend it was great! Next weekend we are planning on going home to Castlegar so it will be another busy weekend so I'm sure we will just take it easy this week although we have our parents and tots last time on Wednesday which we are going to try and make.
 

Tonight we took Preston swimming at the big pool for the first time!! At first he was really scared and didn't quite know what to do. He was just kind of looking around and screeching at all the kids and noise, he was hanging on for dear life! But then he warmed up to it and got used to the noise and all the kids and really enjoyed himself. He even got to go down the waterslide with daddy! Which he loved!!! We are defiantly going to take him back because he really had fun! The pool in Vernon is very cool and has lots of neat things for kids and he will really enjoy it when he is older.
 

Yesterday we went to Preston Uncle Darrens and Auntie Jodis house in Kelowna for a bbq. It was lots of fun! Preston cousin Lexy was there and had a great time playing with Preston and he had a great time playing with her. Preston got to go swimming in their kiddy pool and had a BLAST!! He absolutely loved it and was splashing and laughing so hard!! It was probably one of the cutest things!! He liked it when I make him swim on his belly  he thought that was just hilarious. Today it was SO hot and muggy here!! Stacey came over for a visit and we had a REALLY good dinner (yumm pasta salad) Preston showed her how he loves his pool and sandbox and had a great time visiting with her, as well did mommy (any human contact that isn't a one sided conversation is great!) 
 

Yesterday Ryan went out and bought Preston a sandbox and today when he came home from work he bought some sand and we let Preston test it out. He absolutely loved it!! We have had 2 really nice days here and I want to spend some time outside with Preston and now we have something to do other then sit on the grass because he gets bored. But he sat and played in the sandbox for an hour!! It was the cutest thing ever!!
 

We just were down in Castlegar for the weekend. We had a great time! Preston met his new little friend Emma we went to the park and played. Preston had a really good time and loved getting dirty and playing in the rocks. Preston also got to see his Auntie Rhiannon. On the way home we stayed at Prestons Auntie Richelles and Uncle Jamies where he got to play with his cousin Liam, who he loves!! It was a nice visit of course I always love going home and seeing my mommy.
 

7 MONTHS!!!

Time has just flown by!! Preston is so big and is changing all the time. He is just so great and such a character!! I love him so much!!
 

Yesterday I gave Preston alphabet beef for the first time. He wasn't to sure about but enjoyed feeding himself. Preston also has discovered his private parts. (Way to go little man!!)

Yesterday I got to have my first real mothers day! It was great! Preston was really good all day and even slept in (8:30 is now sleeping in for me!!) It was just so wonderful to be a mommy and to celebrate Mothers Day!

Today Preston had is 4th set of shots. He was a really good boy and only cried for a little bit. I always feel bad for him because he bleeds but I know that it is best. After his shots he was his normal happy self and not fussy at all.

Preston cut his second tooth today! He hasn't been as fussy as he was with the first one but I still feel bad for him. He first tooth is also so sharp that it is cutting up his lips and making them bleed. Poor little boy!! He is looking so cute with these little white things in his mouth though.

Today Preston was SO fussy and cried over everything! I just couldn't figure out what he wanted! Then all of the sudden he bit my finger and I felt a little sharp thing in his mouth so I rub with my finger and sure enough his first tooth was poping out. It is the bottom left one if you are looking at him. We are so proud! So that was why he was fussy all day!

On Thursday we decided to go down to Castlegar for a visit. We had a great visit and it was nice to see everyone. On Saturday Ryan and I went to the bull-a-rama in Trail and Preston stayed with his Nana, he was so good for her!! We had such a nice time and the weather was so nice we didn't want to come back home. Yesterday I took Preston to the doctor for his 6 month check-up everything was great he is 20lbs which is the 90% and 27 1/2inches which is also the 90% so he is just perfect. He loved the doctor and wanted to play with everything.

So on Sunday Preston was 6 months old!! I can't believe it!! He is such a good baby I am so lucky to have him! He is growing up so fast and it just amazes me all that he can do and all that he is learning! He is just a joy to be around and just to watch. But I wont kid myself some days I could send him back but they are few are far between. I just don't know what my life would be like without him he is my everything and completes who I am, I am his mother and there is no other title I would want other then that. I took Preston to get weighed today and he was 20 lbs!!! I know huge!! I'm not going to be able to pack him for much longer so he is going to have to learn to walk. He is 27 inches long and just the perfect little boy!!
 

I haven't updated Prestons website in a long time!! We have just been busy doing nothing! Preston is learning so much and is growing up so fast! Today I took him to get his pictures taken at Wal-Mart and they are so cute!! I can't wait to get them! I was surprised how good he was and didn't even fuss, but then again he is used to having a camera in his face because I'm a little camera happy. Although I have given him a little break and haven't taken that many pictures lately. Other then that he is doing great and I can't believe he is going to be 6 months on Sunday!!! That is just so crazy how fast it has gone by!

Today I took Preston to get weighed and he was 18lbs 15oz almost 19lbs I can't believe it he is so big!! He was 26 inches long. He is doing so great!! He is starting to make new noises he is saying mamamama and babababa but his favorite is dadadada he doesn't know who they go to yet but it is so cute to hear him talk. He is also now mastered rolling over and you can't keep him still he just loves to roll all around he just keeps going. Preston also figured out how to actually jump in his jumperoo, it is so cute and he thinks that it is just the best thing and he gets good exercise doing it. He is just changing so fast right now and doing all new things everyday he is such a smart cookie!!
 

Last night Ryan gave Preston a bath for the first time!! It was so nice to be able to sit and not have to do anything!! Ryan has been such a help lately because I've been sick. He actually put Preston to bed one night! Preston loves when Ryan does things with him because he loves his daddy and just likes to be around him!!

Preston is officially done breastfeeding!! Last night was the last night that I nursed Preston. I was giving him a bottle but still nursing him at night and now have totally finished that as well. It makes me kinda sad that he is no longer a baby but I know that he had 5 months of breast feeding and that was a good thing.

Today I took Preston to get him weighed and he weighed 18lbs 4 oz which is 6oz less then last time but I weighed him with his clothes on last time so that was probably the extra 6oz.

5 months!!

It's crazy how fast these 5 months have gone by!! Preston is becoming such a little man he is his own person with his own really big attitude! (Which he gets from his dad of course) He is just fantastic and always a joy to have around. I love everyday watching him grow and discover new things. He amazes me every time I look at him and I still can't believe that he is actually here and mine!!

Well Preston is sick again. He has just got a little cold but I feel bad for him!! He has got a really stuffed up nose and when he gets upset and cries he starts to cough. But as usual he is still happy and not fussy even with this cold, which is a good thing. He is a snotty nose kid right now YUCK!! Preston has also started to drink from a cup I tried giving it to him when we were down in Castlegar and he knew exactly what to do with it and now every time there is a glass near him he reaches for it because he wants a drink. It is really cute and hes getting good at it but he still kinda sticks his tongue in the glass and licks up the water like a dog!!

Today we went to Kelowna to visit Prestons Auntie Rhiannon and her friends they were there on a road trip so we went in to visit and to do some shopping. I didn't plan on spending as much as I did but oh well. Preston got spoiled but is going to be the best dressed kid on the block in his new clothes. Preston enjoyed seeing all the ladies and being a flirt at first he was quite sure and had the lip out because there were so many girls talking to him but then he saw his Auntie and everything was all good he gave her a smile, it was so cute that he could recognize her. We spent the day at the mall and all the ladies snuggled and love him. It was great I got a little break! Preston was so good the whole time!! and people couldn't stop coming up to him and telling him how cute he was!! (I know!!)

Well we are home from Castlegar. I'm glad to be home because I missed my girls (the cats) but I'm sure I will miss being back home!! Preston was such a good boy while we were down even with having the flu. I'm going to try and go out tomorrow and get him weighed to see how much the pork chop weighs.

Today Preston and I went to mom and me again and he really enjoyed it!! I also took Preston to get weighed he weighs 18lbs 11oz!! I can't believe it he is huge!!

Today my mom and I had Preston on his tummy and he lifted his tummy off the ground and was on all fours. The beginning stages of learning to crawl YAY!! Of course I missed it with the camera and the other times he has done it I haven't had the camera close by so the next time I put him on his tummy for tummy time I will be sure to have the camera close.
 

For the past few days Preston hasn't been very well he had the flu and wasn't able to keep any food down. So I had to give him pedialite to keep him hydrated. He is now feeling better and just has a stuffy nose now.

Preston and I have been down in Castlegar for the past few days visiting everyone, we were supposed to go home but stayed for an extra few days. Ryan is coming down today and we are staying till Tuesday. Preston has been such a good little boy while we've been here. He is sleeping almost all the way through the night. He has been going to bed around 8 or 9 and sleeping till 4 or 5 it is so nice to have a long period of uninterrupted sleep. I think he is growing because he has been doing alot of sleeping!! Preston has learned how to sit up by himself now and uses his hands to keep himself up. He still tumbles over sometimes but his doing very well and will be sitting perfectly on his own soon. The only thing now is he wants to sit all the time and tries to sit all the time and never wants to lay down now.

Preston learned to blow razz berries today. He goes around making razzing sounds all day now. He thinks that it is so cool!! Tomorrow we have to go home back to Lumby and are sad to have to leave Castlegar, but we will be back next weekend. Preston has been such a good boy while we have been down.

Preston is going to be a big brother!! Yay! I found out yesterday that I'm going to have another baby. I'm due October 27th, so Preston will be a year old when he has his brother or sister. We are so excited and I can't wait!!

Today Preston and I went to parents and tots. He really enjoyed it and loved to watch all the other kids playing. He was very good there and didn't fuss at all! I think as he grows he will enjoy it even more.

Today I introduced a new veggie to Preston. I gave him carrots. He was really funny he was expecting it to be sweet potato and gave me a funny look when it wasn't what he thought. But he got used to the taste and now really likes it. Prestons newest toy is my face, he loves to grab at it and pull on my nose and my hair.

I gave Preston his first veggie on Friday. I gave him sweet potato and he really liked it!! He ate it all up, so I'm going to slowly introduce different veggies to him and see which ones he likes. This weekend we went to Prestons first birthday party, his cousin Liam turned 2. Preston was really good and always like seeing his family, he was just full of smiles for everyone!!

Wow!! 4 Months I can't believe it!! They have been the greatest 4 months but have also gone by the fastest! Preston is such a joy in our lives and I don't know what we would do without him. He has developed such a personality and is such a little boy now! He is one of the happiest babies and is always full of smiles!!

I took Preston to get weighed today and he weighed 17lbs 14oz!! He's huge!! But at least he's healthy. He is doing great and developing more of a little attitude everyday! He is becoming such a little person now and not so much a baby, although he will always be my baby! I enjoy him more and more everyday and can't even emagine what life would be like with out him (even when he is being a little jerk!)

Today Preston made a new friend his name is Kia and he is 7 months old and Preston really likes watching him. Mommy and Preston and going to start walking with Kia and his mommy to get some exercise.

Last night Ryan and I went into Kelowna and picked up Prestons new car seat. He is now officially a big boy!! It's so sad that he is growing up so fast and is already out of his infant one!

Today Preston had his second shots :( He was really good!! He cried alittle but hey I can't blame him. He only was bleeding for a little bit this time and it wasn't as bad as the first. He weighed 17lbs 4 oz. ("I know he's huge!!!")

Today I tried giving Preston some cereal. He wasn't to impressed with it and just spit it back out. I can't really blam him though I tasted it and it tastes like paste! Later on today I tried giving Preston some cereal again and he really liked it!! He thought it was great!! I guess the first time he just didn't know what to do with it and how to swallow it without sucking on something. But now that he likes it I'm going to give it to him once a day as a treat.

Last night we went and visited Prestons Uncle Darren, Auntie Jodi and Lexy. Lexy really liked Preston and wanted to do nothing but hold him. We had a good time and it was nice to visit. Preston was very good and didn't fuss at all. Today Prestons Uncle Jamie, Auntie Richelle and Liam came over to watch the Super Bowl and to visit, we had a good time and it was nice to see them. Preston goes for his second shots on Tuesday and I'm not looking forward to it, I have to take him by myself because Ryan will be working. I'm not excited to have to be the one to hold him but hopefully it will go better this time.

We went to Wal-Mart tonight and bought Preston a new stroller his old one we have to send back because we aren't aloud to have it here because it was bought in the states. I can't wait to go for a walk tomorrow and try it out! We also got him a Tigger to ride on that plays music and he really likes it and can sit on it on his own for a little bit until he gets excited.

Today Preston and I went to the health unit to get him weighed. He weighs 16 lbs 15 oz and is 25.5 inches. He is growing great and is happy. Preston has also decided that he doesn't want to nap at all during the day and he thinks that two 30 min naps all day are enough. Which leads to one very cranky babe at bed time! But he is sleeping really well at night and only getting up for one middle of the night feeding which is nice!!

Today we found out that Preston has an eye infection. I have to put this cream in his eye, he is actually pretty good and lets me do it. I have to do it 4 times a day for 8 days to clear it up. The infection doesn't seem to be bothering him and hes still the same happy kid.

Tonight we got home from our trip to Castlegar it was a very nice visit. But going there just reminds me of how much I miss living there. I had a good visit with my mom other than her being sick. Preston got spoiled rotten there and now has a ton of new clothes. Preston was kinda cranky the whole time because he was sick as well so it was nice to be there and get some help with him. It is also nice to be home and get back into our groove.

Yesterday we went and visited Prestons girlfriend Keegan. Preston was cranky and not a very good guest but Keegan was a perfect angel didn't say a peep. Preston towers over her but they make a cute couple!! It was a nice visit and I was happy to finally get to see Keegan for more than a minute.

Preston had his first solid food today. I let him suck on an Arrowroot cookie and he loved it!!! He couldn't get enough he thought it was the best treat ever!!

Preston is growing more and more everyday and amazes me everyday as well. His newest thing is he has learned is hand mouth coordination. Everything that you put in front of him he now grabs and it goes straight into the mouth.

3 Months!!!

I can't believe that it's been 3 months since I had him. It feels like I just brought him home. But I don't know what I did before him he is my life now, my 24 hours a day job. Its just so great I can't believe how much I love such a little person who I've only known for 3 months! We went to the doctors today to see about his rash which has gone away but we still wanted to get it checked out. The doctor today said the same thing that it probably was a virus and that he would be okay and not to worry.

Trip to emerg!!!

Today at 5:00 I took Preston up stairs to get changed and when I took off his sleeper I saw a huge rash!! It was all over his body!! So I called the nurses hotline to see what to do and she said that it could be an allergic reaction to something and that I should take him in to emerg. So as soon as Ryan got home we went to the hospital. I was worried that he was having a reaction to the formula because I gave it to him for the first time last night and this morning. They took his temp. and it was a little high but they said it was okay and when the doctor looked at him he told us that it was probably a virus and not the formula and not to worry. He said his throat looked a little red so that was another indicator that it was a virus. He said if he was fussy just to give him some Tylenol and maybe a bath in baking soda. He was kinda un clear which kinda made me mad because I would like to know for sure so I am going to make an appointment to take him to our regular doctor and maybe he can tell me for sure. They also weighed Preston and he was 16 lbs 1.5 ounces so that is good he gained 3 ounces in 2 days.

Today I took Preston to see the health nurse to get weighed. He weighs 15 lbs 14 oz and is 24 1/8 inches long. She was kind of concerned that he isn't gaining that much weight and that he has only gained 6 oz in a month, so she said that she wants to watch his weight and make sure he doesn't lose any and keeps gaining. He is still in the 95% so she isn't to worried but we are just going to make sure. She also told me about a herbal drug to take to help my milk supply stay full. So we will see if it works. But other then that she says that he is doing great developmentally with his looking around and his muscles so that is a good thing.

2 months 3 weeks and 5 days!!

Not much new going on here. Preston is still growing like crazy! He seems to get heavier everyday. But he is happy and healthy so nothing to worry about. He is getting to be pro at rolling over now and he thinks he is the funniest thing alive. It seems like he is getting closer to talking everyday, he seems to get new sounds and coos out all the time. The best new sound is defiantly the laugh! He laughed before but wasn't really sure what he was doing but now he knows and it is a full out real laugh. I think it might be the best sound I have ever heard! I just can't believe that he is almost 3 months it has gone by so fast! But I can't wait to see what the next months are going to bring he is just such a blessing to us and we are very lucky to have him! I can't wait to go to the health unit on Monday to see how much he weighs!!

3 month check up

Preston had his 3 month check up today he was 15lbs and 8 ounces so not to big of a weight gain which is good. He isn't growing alot in length he is just getting more solid. I guess he is going to get his daddys height and his moms brains. ;)But he is doing great and is right where he should be! Everything else check out good and he is perfect and healthy. He really enjoyed the doctor this time he was giving him big smiles and cooing.

Rolled Over!!

Preston rolled over for the first time today. He was on my chest on his tummy and was doing it so I wondered if I put him on the ground if he would do the same so I put him on his tummy on the ground and he did it!! He rolled to his left twice!! I couldn't believe it!!!

Preston had his first bottle today and he loved it!! I bought a pump so I could go places and give him a bottle rather than breast feeding. I wasn't sure how he was going to do with it but he was great. He took it right away and thought  it was the greatest thing ever!! Finally a little freedom for mommy!!

Happy New Year!!!

We had a great new year at Prestons Auntie Richelle and Uncle Jamie's house. Preston was asleep by mid-night I guess because he was resting up for the next day because he was up from 3 in the afternoon till 11:00!!! But he wasn't even cranky just wanted to hang out with us all. We just can't wait to spend a new year with our new little angel!

Yay! Preston has a new cousin a little baby girl Sloane Allison. She was born today at 3:10. We are so excited and can't wait to meet her! She was nice to her mommy and came out with little trouble unlike her cousin Preston.

Finally home after the long drive back from Castlegar. We had a great Christmas and Preston got super spoiled! Ryan and I took turns opening presents for Preston well because he is of course to little. We spent Christmas eve at Nana and Papas house and opened presents there in the morning then we went to Granny and Grandpas house where we opened even more presents!! Christmas eve we had Prestons baptism which went very well. Preston was so good he didn't cry at all! He was actually good the hole time we were down but started to get fussy the last day. It was just time to get back home and back into our routine. Preston is doing great talking up a storm well cooing one at least and has enough smiles to go around! We are now waiting the arrival of our new niece or nephew (Prestons cousin) Who should be here soon!!

Well the dream of having another night of complete sleep was short lived. Although I can't complain because he was only up once. Today we are off to Castlegar and can't wait!!

Preston slept right through the night last night for the first time!! He slept from 11:15 till 7:00. It was great!! I don't think it will be a on going thing but I sure wouldn't mind if it was. We are getting ready to head to Castlegar on Monday for Christmas but we have to leave daddy behind at home seeing how he has to work. I'm looking forward to Christmas to seeing everyone and seeing how spoiled Preston gets. Which I know is going to happen. Prestons baptism is also on Christmas eve and I am looking forward to that as well.

Preston pooped in the tubby for the first time today! I know I'm a dork but it was SO funny!! After he did it he looked at me with the biggest smile and cooed! It was hilarious! I'm sure that this isn't going to be the last time but it sure was cute!

2 months!!! YAY I can't believe it! It seems like I just got home with him. We went to the doctor today and everything was great!! Preston is healthy and is doing great! He didn't gain any weight in the 3 days which is suprising seeing how he is growing like a bad weed!! But everything was good! He is such a card!! Now he smiles so much and is making cooing sounds. It is SO cute!!! He is just so precious!

Today Preston had his first set of shots! :( He screamed! He was bleeding from the first one, but the second two weren't as bad. He slept most of the day and was really good and happy!! He also got weighed and weighed 15 pounds 4 ounces!!! WHAT A PORKER!! Everything looked good and he was healthy!! I can't believe almost a pound and a half in a week! The funny thing is he didn't grow anything in length!! I guess we know that he is getting enough to eat!!

Today Preston had his doctors appointment. He seemed not to mind it as much this time!! He weighed 13 pounds 14 ounces!!! I can't believe it and he is only 7 weeks and 2 days!!! Oh well a happy and healthy boy. Everything else checked out fine and she said that he was doing great!

Today we went and got Preston's first Christmas tree!! It looks great! I can't wait till he is old enough to help us decorate it!

Back to Castlegar for our shower!! and lots of running around and visiting. A very busy weekend!! Thanks to Auntie Corrine for putting on the shower it was great. And thanks to everyone for all the great gifts! He was spoiled rotten!! Although he didn't let anyone hold him to much because he just was not happy. He was better when we put him on the floor and just let everyone look at him. Then it was back home to Lumby. he was very good on the drive slept all the time except one time to get up to feed. We miss Castlegar!!

Preston's one month check up. He weighed 12lbs 6 oz. and was 23 3/4 inches long. Little porker!! At least we know that he is eating well and growing. The doctor said that everything looked good his head was growing normally and everthing else seemed fine. Preston did NOT like the doctor he screamed when he was getting looked at and as soon as we left he was happy again.

Preston is 1 month old. Today he smiled a real smile he smile while he was awake and actually at me.

Prestons first doctor visit. He weighed 9 pounds and the doctor was shocked! I got my stitches out. (Not very fun felt like a rug burn.) But everything was good he looked great and was growing good.

The health nurse came and checked Preston over. She said he looked great! He now weighed 8 lbs 5.7 oz. .7 of a pound over he birth weight. He was a little jaundice but she said it is nothing to worry about. He is a big and healthy boy!!

We get to go home!!! YAY!! Although it was nice having someone who would take him at night. I missed being at home and most of all I missed Ryan!! I am ready to go home we get our last minute PKU test done and we are out of there!! First stop Wal-Mart. Good idea?? Not so sure. But get all the things we need and go home.

Wake up ready to have a baby but not much is going on except a lot of pain. Ask for an epidural but get told no that they want to try this other stuff first. It works for the first little bit until the pain gets worse. So I sit in pain all day long wanting something more for the pain and still get denied!! Finally they tell me that they are going to break my water. YUCK!!! Then I get told to start pushing. I had no idea what I was doing since I didn't have the urge to push. So I push and push and push... like 2 hours later they bring in a specialist to come and vacuum the baby out. He says there is no way that the baby is coming out safely and that they will have to do an emergency C-section. (Wow what I've been asking for, for hours) Oh yeah I now have the urge to push from pushing and they tell my not to push. hahaha Your joking right?!?!?! So down to the OR where I get the best thing ever a spinal! Ryan comes in and I'm a different person. They cut me open and out comes this perfect little man!!!!

Slept only a few hours last night and the contractions are still bad. Sit around all day waiting for some more action like my water to break, but nothing. Try to go to bed but at 12:00 the pain gets so bad that I wake up my mom and we head for the hospital. (left Ryan to get some sleep). Get there I'm only 4cm but they give me Demerol and keep me in. My mom goes home and sends Ryan. Have a pretty good sleep that Demerol is a wonderful thing.

Friday all day having contractions (Very painful!!!) I play old school mario brothers to take my mind off the pain. The contractions are about 15 minutes apart. By the time Ryan gets home from work they are really bad!! At about 11:00pm we decide to go to the hospital (I'm 2cm) So we go home, I stop by A&W for a mozza burger, milk shake and apple pie. Contractions are 5 minutes apart so and still bad so later on that night so we go back to the hospital. Still only 2cm so they give me some pain medication and tell me to go home and have a bath and try and get some sleep. haha Good luck. Had a bath and kinda slept in between contractions :(

Thursday... Feeling a few cramps not quite sure if it is real. My mom gets here and it is very comforting. Love Ryan to pieces but isn't that much help. A little uncomfortable but managable
