A  tribute to the life of Preston-born feminist icon, Edith Rigby.
In the name of female emancipation she set fire to Lord
Leverhulme’s bungalow on Rivington Pike, attempted to bomb
Liverpool Cotton Exchange and underwent hunger strikes.
 
She lived in Winckley Square in Preston and died in 1948.
