1. Whiskey- this shows that the dad has a drinkers breath and it shows that he is drunk
2. Death- he was hanging on for life and never letting go just as death does. When your dead there is no coming back
3. Waltzing- he says that waltzing wasn�t that easy, this is because it was so painful. He was getting thrown around by his father not a tradition waltz.
4. Romped- he was trying to avoid his father and get around him so that he didn�t get hit
5. Battered- His fathers hand was battered on one knuckle because of the force he was delivering to the kid.
6. Scraped- he scraped his right ear when he hit something while being thrown
7. Dirt- this shows that his dad was drunk because he was stumbeling because he was drunk.
