Hamartia- "Error" or "Flaw. Tragic hero must fall through his or her own error. Brutus hamartia was when he join the assassins that wanted to kill Caesar.

Periptiea- a sudden and unexpected change of fortune or reverse of circumstance. Once Brutus kills Caesar he has a total reversal of fortune because no one like shim because he defied his own strength which was honor.

Anagnorisis
is the recognition by the tragic hero of some truth about his or her identity or actions that accompanies the reversal of the situation in the plot. At the end brutus realizes that killing Caesar was against his own morals and that maybe if Caesar was left in power than he would still be a good leader and maybe not become a tyrant.

Catharsis- Recognizes his mistakes or purgation of pity and fear, Brutus realizes that killing Caesar was wrong and he realizes that this was his one mistake that lead to all this trouble and making war and making him loose him morals when he was dishonorable.

Tragic hero- Comes from nobility, has a Tragic Flaw, Undergoes a Reversal of Fortune, Has a Downfall, then he Recognizes his mistakes

Hubris- excessive pride, sometimes is the hero�s tragic flaw.
