Ferdinand assassination-Pretend a president is assasinated by a foreign assasin. would you blame the country from which the assasin came? Would you want both assasin and homeland punished?

I think that the person just has to get blamed because its not the countries fault that the person who assassinated the president isnt well in the head. He wants to make a point that his county isnt making so how that is the countries fault. Unless the county hires the guy to freak out and take do the president then is there fault but cmon I mean how does the county even know what all its people are doing. Its impossble for the country to control all of its people it just is the stupidest people that uin thingsfor there country. People after the assasinantion might question the countries orders and all that

Berlin Wall
The Berlin wall was erected on August 13th 1961 and it fell on November 9th 1989. This wall was put up to separate the West Germans from the East Germans. They didnt want anyone from east germany to go into west germany because of the cold war. They didnt allow th opposite either. The people of the sides had to have special permits to be let on the other sides. They had to have either a family birthday, death, or something to do with the family. These wee the only reason that the Germans were allowed to see the other half of there country.
The wall was made up of 12 kilometers of concrete slabs and 137 kilometers of barbed wire, over seen from 116 watch towers, with 32 along the East-West Berlin border. The wall cut through 192 streets and 32 railways. People couldnt get through in the river because there was around the clock boat patrols. The guard towers were allowed to have live fire if someone tried to cross. It was a suicide mission to try to cross with out permission. Most of the time the permission wasnt granted granted from the government officials.
The walls feel on November 9th 1989. The wall was torn down because the government was going into downfall so they open the wall up to the east and west Germans. They came pouring through and suddenly the economy was up. Over 220000 East Germans poured into West Germany. The full demolition took 300 East German border guards, 13 bulldozers, 55 excavators, 65 cranes and 175 lorries. Now for historical purposes the wall is left behind by a red line that covers where is used to stand.

CNN Interactive Cold War

This internets site is a very useful subject when learning about cold war and all the stuff that went down. There were things like espionage, why the cold wars started, and the bomb that were in development between USSR and the United States of America. In 1961 the president warned the American public that we could face nuclear war in any second. This did change until the cold war was over. The schools tested the kids to make sure they knew what to do if there was an cold war attack from the USSR. The president even gave Life, the most popular magazine back in 1961, a interview telling the public that he and the united states government were doing everything possible to keep this war from starting.
After our bombing on Nagasaki and Hiroshima the world leaders came out and discussed that nuclear weapons are not good and we shouldnt have possession of them. H-Bomb National Campaign, the National Council for the Abolition of Nuclear Weapons Tests, and the Direct Action Committee Against Nuclear Weapons were all formed in Britain so no one would be able to posses such weapons. After the Atom bomb drops in japan everyone thought that the war was over. Well it was just beginning. Othe coutries saw the power of the bomb and they wanted them to help protect them. The united states already knew they could make them. USSR knew they could so they started developing, thus forming the cod war between US and USSR.
The counties envolved in the cold war got top secret spies. They formed espionage, other words sypies to spy on the other coutries. They would work as governemtn officals and hand top secret intelligence to there home country so they could see what the other coutry was doing. They were asasigns to. They has specially developed weapons to make sure they got what they wanted. Thye also had sucide weapons because they ddnt want to let out any secrets to the opposite sides so they killed them selves with cocktails so they could keep there secrecy.  It didnt matter what age you were you could become a spy so no one trust one another.
The technology back in 1961 was definitely not as good as ours no days. Soviet scientist were trying to come up with someway to constantly moniter the united states movement on the nukes. When JZFK was president the Cuban missle crisis was spotted when an American spy plane flew overhead cuba and saw the missles being hid in the jungles of cuba. Another race was the space race to see the first person that could get into space. This was an important race because whom ever got up into space first could have the advantage because they would over see the whole earth with satellite images and spy a lot faster and a lot easier. Also they could pinput there direction of there spies and whatever they wanted to spy on. This was a great article because it infomed me a lot about the cold war and what happened in it. Before I didnt know that much at all and now I feel like an expert.
