We work to recruit present and former government and nonprofit workers and volunteers to use their talents- including such things as grant writing and strait business advise- to offer businesses exceptional services for competitive prices(10% of a grant, for business advises $500 or twice our expenses)
A.P. Comics
Presenting Social issues through the lens of comic, enjoyable for kids, intellectually stimulating and thought provoking for adults, the first writer began the comic as a way to deal with the events of 9/11 and what he saw as the misdirection and manipulation of American Pride.
Unlike most comics the story has been written seasons ahead, and artists get more of the profits than editors or writers, and the three groups together get the same amount of the profits- with the artists expenses being paid before any profits are figured; artists also have free reign of choosing their level of involvement, from a single splash page, to working on several titles at the same time; and the different titles have a wide range of different styles, with each artist also having a wide range of style in each title; and is encouraged to do so.
We are in full support of their artistic rights, and their selling their drafts free of charge from us, as long as they give full credit for what it was created for; which also means we must insist upon no recycled artwork.
Advising Writers
We give advise to writers in getting published; If we place you with a publishing company, we simply collect a finders fee from them, don't charge the writers anything.
We provide advise regarding writing; and encourage the writers we advise to meet to help each-other, and we are glad to host such meetings, be them small or large; usually without a fee, beyond those who can paying for their portion of any costs related to the meeting.
