| Aug 3rd so whats up? We have been recording and shtuf. and we have a lot of good new songs June 26 Al X here. The songs keep piling up. Preparations have begun for a new album and once we get some new equipment, we will start the recording process. Recording will take place at Shogun Llama Studios here in Hood River. It will be the best album ever. Really. As for shows, we're working on getting some but we're pretty busy with non-band stuff (unfortunately we have lives outside of the band). We will definitely have some next month though. Check it. Juno the 17th Al and nick did demos of Taft and sleepover, you don't care do you? I thought so. By the who reads this other than the people in the band? Probably no one. June 5 Breaking news! Davy Stevenson has joined the band as our bassist. That's right, we finally got around to getting a bass player. She'll start playing shows with us in July. Until then, look forward to a plethora of shows and new songs this summer! May 23 We just found out that the movie boys on the side is not based in any way around the band Richard Prior. Just thought I would clear it up. May 19 Al X here. I wrote song called "The Hedonist." I was also going to put this on my CD this summer but I decided it wasn't quite suited to it. It fits RP better actually, and I really like this song and I hope we play it a lot!! Check out the lyrics on the lyrics page. May 13 Al X here. I wrote a song called "She Likes My Name." I was going to use it for myself for the CD this summer but I didn't think it fit really. I'm not sure if it really fits RP either, but I still like the damn song. May 10th Yesterday Ormando Ormando wrote a song by the title of "Atlas Man" don't tell anyone but the new albums title may be the 30 life code from that Nintendo game Contra. Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a start. we also added a butt load of lyrics to the lyrics page. April 30 I (Al X) wrote and demoed another song today called "Ben Franklin." It's pop supreme. April 29th I (Al X) wrote five new RP songs today. They are called "Air Hockey," "Beanie Weenie," "Wheel Barrow," "Sugar Free Pop," and "George Washington." I'll make them demos sometime. April 24th Al has a bitchin new song called Rock Star. April 18th I (Nick) wrote a kick ass song and i have not named it yet. i think it might be named "Sleepover" but i dunno. Do you really care? I thought so. April 11 Two new songs have been written over the weekend. "I'm not tall I'm huge" and "Wretched girl" Have both been created. These songs may or may not make it on the new album. I guess we will just have to wait and see. April 2 Richard prior has been cranking out the new songs and working on some demos. Summer 2001 looks like it should be a kick ass summer for shows and the new CD. Possible songs for the new album are. . .
