Nick Muy Specific Members Questions NICK Where do you get your inspiration to write songs? The topic just pops into my head. Usually It�s not serious at all. It�s just a stupid phrase like �lets vote god for president� Or � I love red things� If the song is serious I have to force out the lyrics and put them in some cryptic language so people can�t really hear what I am singing about. Fave song writers? Beck, Rivers, any Beatle, What l do you do to style your hair? Gel and a lot of combing with my fingers What kind of guitar did you first start learning on? My dads nameless bass What are you favourite group of lyrics that you have written? Probably the verses of I hate girls or stupid crap like Lets vote god for prez or Ronald Regan Do you ever feel like Alex or Ky should sing instead of you? I like the back up but I think My voice fits my stupid song style FY Where do you get your inspiration to write songs? Queen and TMBG are major influences for the music and lyric lines. But for the actual lyrics I have to think long and hard before I come up with anything that I deem worthy. I�ll write about anything from girls to comic books. You never know what it�ll be about. Fave song writers? Bowie, John from TMBG, the combination of John and Paul of the Beatles, and the combination of Gilmour and Waters from Floyd. What do you do to style your hair? I wash it. What kind of guitar did you first start learning on? A shitty little, almost toy, acoustic guitar.. I think it was a ho-ner or something. What are you favourite group of lyrics that you have written? I�m pretty happy with the Shiny Thing? lyrics. Do you ever feel like Alex or Nick should sing instead of you? Sometimes� I sound like the guy from Styx. But most of the stuff I write is too high for nick and al to sing. ALEX Where do you get your inspiration to write songs? It depends. I always start with a line or a group of lyrics then write a melody and the chords at the same time. The melody can often be the trickiest part. I don�t write the same all the time though, sometimes it�s forced and sometimes it just comes out...good songs can come from either method yo! Fave song writers? Al Gore, George W.
