| We recorded our sophomore effort in the latter part of summer 2000. Although we really half-assed it, the songs are more developed than the debut album and people seem to like this one much more. It took us about a month to record, and although we may never be fully satisfied with it, this album truly ROCKS! If you like this, you'll be flabbergasted by our third album coming out summer 2001. "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" is a fan favorite, and although it surprising difficult to pull of live, this is the definitive version on this fantastic record! "Ronald Reagan" is also superior to the embrionic version on the first album. "Jackson 12" will scare your children. |

| Nick and I randomly decided to record some songs we'd written under the name "Richard Prior." Nick thought it would be a good hardcore band name, so we used it. Except we're not hardcore. But yeah this was before Ky was in the band so it's just Nick and I recording these songs cheesily on my four track. Where "Intense Tennis With Dennis" sounds like a whacked out garage band, "Richard Prior" sounds like They Might Be Giants on meth. Very different feels, but they both kick booty!! There is a lot of accordian on this album, and on ITWD there is only keyboards, which is kind of too bad, but rocking with accordian is kind of hard. Oh well, screw it. "JFK" is a brilliant tone poem with Nick doing his best JFK accent, "Magical Clothing" is a rockin tribute to John Spencer, and "Depoe Bay" is another fan favorite in it's purest form--stupidity. |
