Close to Bartram Av. ( near the AUTO MALL ) Cars race west down
61st. street starting close to Passuyunk Ave. !! This is the place to go
after the cops chase everyone from Holstein Ave. But cars are usually
driving back and forth between 61st. street and Holstein Av. They
start racing on Fri and Sat about 10 pm. On Sundays head to 61st first
around 6-7pm. Parking lot of the Purple Orchid is where everyone
hangs out till racing starts on 61st.
Holstein Avenue
off Bartram Av. exit of I 95 I'm not to sure about when they start
racing, But usually around 9 - 10 p.m. This is the place to race in south
Philly !! There's allways a lot of racing on Holstein Ave.
Front Street
Exit off the Packer St. exit on 95. Turn right at the first light. Follow
till the end of the road. They race north on Front starting at Pattison
Ave. ( Friday is dead and Sundays, and sometimes Saturday night too.. )
Northeast Philly
The main gathering place in north east Philadelphia is at Roosevelt
BLVD. ( Rt.1 ) and Red Lion Rd. in the Sports Authority parking lot
on Sunday nights. Cars start arriving between 8 - 9 p.m. Sometimes
earlier during the summer. My best guess would be 300 - 400 cars
every sunday night.
Red Lion Rd.
at Global Rd. They race going east on Red Lion Rd. starting at the
Global Rd. red light.. next to American Transit (the Bud
Company)(Sundays)
Caroline Rd.
Behind PEPSI on Rt. 1 ( off Comly Rd. )( Sundays )
