| Altought it is not known how cats purr, it's known that allsounds are produced by virbrations. In cats throats, vibrations occur when major blood vessels around the vocal chords are expanded. Unlike other vocal chords, one set is called superior or false chords, and other is called inferior or true chords. Some scientist think that it is a sign of communication also. | |||||||||||||||||

| A cats round mysterious eyes are beautiful. In the dark, they seem to glow, but there is no lights at all in cats eyes. What make them shine and make them see much better than you or I. A layer in their eye is called tapeteum, reflects extra light back into their eye when it gets dark. Cats can see seven times better than us. Cats can see in colour but both cats and dogs are red-green colour blind. |
