Bien que cette poule au cou dénudé ait également peu de plumes sur la poitrine et sous les ailes, elle supporte très bien les durs froids de l'hiver.
Très docile et de tempérament agréable,
la poule pond de gros oeufs brun très foncé;
le coq fournit aussi de l'excellent poulet de chair. En raison de son apparence insolite proche de la dinde, cet oiseau attire beaucoup l'attention. Standardisée dans le noir, le blanc, le chamois et le rouge.

NAKED-NECK (or TURKEN)
Even if this bird with a bare neck has also only very few feathers on its breast and beneath its wings, it endures cold weather very well.
Very docile and gentle, the hen lays big and very dark brown eggs.
With its strange turkey-like look, this bird easily catches the attention.
Standardized in black, white, buff and red colors.  A good dual purpose bird.
