COCHIN BLEUE
Ce très bel oiseau facile à dompter tient souvent lieu d'animal de compagnie.
Le coq est calme et vigoureux et fait bon ménage
avec les coqs d'autres races; son corps est compact et lourd, et son emplumage est plutôt lent. Les pattes sont complètement emplumées.
La poule pond de gros oeufs bruns et est bonne mère. Bon poulet de chair et l'une des plus belles poules d'exposition.
Particularité génétique : les poussins naissent à
50% bleu, à 25% noir et à 25% "éclaboussés".

BLUE COCHIN
Very nice and hardy bird with compact body and
fully feathered paws.
Very quiet and easy-tempered, it is easy to rear and to keep as a backyard pet, especially for the rooster which gets along well with other males.
Feathering is slow.
Hens lay brown eggs, and roosters yield good meat.
One of the nicest exhibition birds.
Genetic trait : chicks are born 50% blue, 25% black, and 25% "splash".
