| Possession Listen as the wind blows From across the great divide. [Suboshi pants furiously as he holds his brother securely in his arms. A single tear rolls down his face as he lovingly scolds his brother for not coming back to him.] Voices trapped in yearning, Memories trapped in time. [Amiboshi winces and apologizes. He slowly pulls out a small container and offers it to Suboshi explaining its function. "It will let you forget your past…Only then, we can live once more together in peace."] The night is my companion, and solitude my guide. Would I spend forever here and not be satisfied? [Amiboshi brings the bottle to Suboshi's lips, but he instantly turns away. Amiboshi only smiles and takes his brother's hand and passes it over to him.] And I would be the one to hold you down, [Suboshi looks at his brother, then at the bottle. He slowly brings it up to his mouth, taking in the bitter liquid.] Kiss you so hard, I'll take your breath away and after I'd Wipe away the tears, Just close your eyes dear. [He keeps it in his mouth, still refusing to swallow it. Amiboshi smiles warmly at him, nodding his head, telling him to swallow it.] Through this world I stumbled, So many times betrayed… [Suboshi frowns as he thinks of how his brother had lied to him, promising to come back to him, then doing the opposite.] Trying to find an honest word to find the truth enslaved. [Then he thinks of how his brother had been a good companion and comfort to him. He is about to swallow it, until Yui comes to his mind.] Oh you speak to me in riddles and You speak to me in rhymes. [He realizes that he does love Amiboshi, and all that he had ever been to him is just someone that he could go to share all his pain. He was his blanket to wipe his tears. He was…Now, he is just not the same. He betrayed him and all he had ever believed in.] My body aches to breathe your breath, Your words keep me alive. [His only comfort now is Yui. The only one who had the dignity to go up to him and give him the comfort he needed when Amiboshi had "died". Suboshi has his mind made up.] And I would be the one to hold you down. [He pulls Amiboshi close to him as he presses his weight on him. Amiboshi is a bit startled.] Kiss you so hard, I'll take your breath away and after I'd Wipe away the tears, [He forces himself on Amiboshi, pressing his mouth firmly on Amiboshi's lips transferring the bitter liquid into his own mouth. He deepens the kiss, making sure his brother swallows it completely. "This is what you always wanted, aniki. Well…now you have it, you will never see me again.] Just close your eyes dear. ["I'm sorry aniki, but I love Yui sama." Amiboshi opens his mouth; astonished Suboshi has finally made a decision on his own. He just did not realize how much he had grown up those past months without him. Tears of jealousy sting his eyes. He feels himself weaken. He mutters out Suboshi's name and passes out.] Into this night I wonder It's morning that I dread. [Suboshi gently picks up his brother's limp body. He holds it close, pressing a kiss into his forehead. He accommodates the poorly wrapped bandages on his wounded chest, placing him carefully underneath a tree close to his "family's" house.] Another day of knowing of the path I fear to tread. [He runs away, hiding behind a bush keeping a vigilant look on his brother's body. "Aniki would never want me back, not when he finds out how much tears and pain I have caused others…Maybe he knew already, and that is why he never wanted to come back to me. Well, now he will forget. He will forget who he was, who I was, and all the love we shared."] Oh, into this sea of waking dreams, I follow without pride. ["I will go on serving Yui sama, now that you don't need me anymore. You live your life, I will live mine, but one thing is for sure, aniki, I will never forget you. You were good, you were kind…you were my brother."] Nothing stands between us here, And I won't be denied. [Suboshi noticed his "mother" and a few of the village people run to Amiboshi. He does not notice it, but a tear escaped his eyes, not wanting to believe what he is seeing. "I love you, Koutoku." He runs away, shutting his eyes firmly trying to hold back angry tears as the whole scene of betrayal and love plays all over in his mind.] And I would be the one to hold you down. Haven't you guys noticed I'm a die hard Sarah McLachlan fan yet?
I really love her music so much and her art. I'm into dark,
creepy stuff. I dunno why do I like sad songs. You know, the kind
of songs that kinda hit that nerve in you and make you cry. Well,
"Possesion" is one of those songs. You should listen to
the slow version of it. If you have her CD Fumbling Towards
Ecstasy, then you know what I'm talking about.
