Nikki Trokey graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2002 with a B.S. in Secondary English Education. She is currently a teaching assistant pursuing her M.A. in English, with a writing emphasis. Nikki has just finished her creative thesis, which focuses on female body image as influenced by Barbie dolls and Britney Spears, and found a job teaching English at an area high school. She currently lives with her fianc� in Sikeston, Missouri, and she hopes to add a pet to their household by this summer. After completing her degree in May, Nikki hopes to figure out what she would do if she had any free time.
