Michael G. Howell is a writer/security guard living in the slums of downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Along with poetry, his passions include music of all genres, the fiction of William S. Burroughs, Kurt Vonnegut, and Chuck Palahniuk, and Macintosh computers. With delusions of being a desktop publisher, Howell is responsible for the creation of all PSP print media. With a B.A. in English, emphasis in creative writing from Southeast Missouri State completed, he plans on acquiring a Masters in a similar field and then moving on to a Ph.D. The final goal? Teaching creative writing on the college level. But with a baby on the way and marriage plans simmering on the back burner, Howell wants to focus on a happy family life first.
Michael is published in several issues of Southeast Missouri State University�s Journey Magazine, and will be published in the July edition of Lunarosity, and in an upcoming edition of Lil's Experimental EZine.
