Carla Lee lives in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with her fianc� and no pets, but a rather large collection of books, next door to Michael G. Howell. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in May, 2003 with a B.A. in English, writing emphasis, and a minor in small press publishing. Future goals include a move back to the west coast and a series of horror novels.
For now she spends her time immersed in all things literary: works at Barnes & Noble, runs a book club for advanced sophomores at Jackson High School, writes both for Prescription Strength Poetry and for other endeavors, and reads any book she can get her hands on. She likes her fiction fantastical and her poetry realistic. In her spare time, she enjoys driving herself crazy trying to learn CSS, is the webmaster for this website, is the technical photography editor for Digital Impressions, and has an unhealthy obsession with folklore.
Carla has been published in Big Muddy: A Journal Of the Mississippi River Valley, the Arts!Rolla Literary Compilation, and Journey Magazine.
