    If you are going on a Charter Boat trip, you will always be able to rent equipment. If you want to show an interest in this great sport, you should look into buying some equipement of your own.
     Fishing equipment is avalible in most sporting good stores. One website that is particularly good is Wholesalers-Direct. This site offers a very wide range of products; such as rods, reels, tackle boxes, fishing line of all sorts, and much more. If you are looking to attend an SHP Fishing Club trip, the following is a list of equipment that is recommended for our trips.
Equipment Needed:
1. Clothing for Warm/Cold Weather
2. 10-30 lbs. Test Rod
3. 20 lb. Test Reel (recommended)
4. 10-20 lbs. Test Line
5. Tackle Box (optional) - The boat will provide the proper tackle.
Bait Casting Reel
Spinning Reel - 20 lb.
Spinning Reel - 10 lb.
2000 yds. of Fishing Line
Rods - 50 lb.
Triple Deck Tackle Box
