-Melodic rock artist with
some significant song
writing skills.

AMERICAN DOG
-Alcohol fueled hard rock,
comparable to Dangerous Toys
and Jackyl. The singer used
to play in Salty Dog and
Dangerous Toys. This band was
previously known as Hilljack. American Dog has several albums available online.

BEAUTIFUL CREATURES
-High energy rock n' roll,
similar to Guns N' Roses &
Buckcherry. Their last cd, "Deuce", came out in 2005.

BROKEN TEETH
-A band put together by
Dangerous Toys singer,
Jason McMaster. This is
perfect for someone who
misses the vocal stylings
of Bon Scott and the attitude
of early AC/DC. They have a few cd's for sale on their web site.

-A dark hard rock based group from the California area. They have great melody and harmonies in their songs, without being too commercial.

-This talented solo artist and singer has released three cd's of his own since 2002, not to mention his work in the band Silent Rage.

-New York based melodic rock
group, had some MTV hits in
the late 80's. They are
even better now than when
they started out.

KEVIN DUBROW
-Founder and lead
singer of Quiet Riot. Kevin
now records and tours as a
solo artist. His 2004 cd is
'In for the kill.'

FROZEN RAIN
-Melodic rock group not
based out of the US. They
sent me some initial demos
which sounded great. The
band has a full length disc
planned.

FUNNY MONEY
-This band has a few albums out and their lead singer is Steve Whiteman, former frontman of the band Kix. Needless to say, this MD based band sounds a lot like Steve's old band Kix.

HUGHES/TURNER PROJECT
-Classic rock similar to
Deep Purple and Rainbow, in
a band led by rock legends
Joe Lynn Turner and Glenn
Hughes. Great stuff! This band has 3 cd's out, including a live album from Tokyo.

LEGS DIAMOND
-Not too long ago, I added their 2005 album "Diamonds are forever" to my regular rotation. The band sounds a little like Deep Purple, which is a good thing.

MOJO GURUS
-Roots rock group, with a
mix of Dylan, Jerry Lee
Lewis, The Stones, etc. wild
stuff. Based out of Florida, Mojo Gurus have a few cd's available.

RATT
-An old favorite of mine, from the 1980's. There isn't much more you can say about this band. Their most recent album was a self-titled release from 1999.
