11-7-05-We have uploaded a short rehearsal clip of a song in progress to our myspace page. We are also working on a new site, stay tuned...
10-16-05-It is now official. After a long period of uncertainty, and stagnation, Adam Dennison is no longer the bass player for INVAZION. It has become impossible for him to balance the band with his life requirements for the forseeable future. He put nearly 3 years into this band, and for that, we thank him, and wish him well.
10-10-05-Claude and Mike continue to work out new material for INVAZION. They hope to add it to the regular set. INVAZION is also looking into recording in the semi-near future. It was started, then aborted, and hopefully will start again soon. Other than that, INVAZION will probably continue to be kinda low profile for awhile. The band lineup, and prosperity are somewhat in question...stay tuned.
9-1-05-INVAZION is coming back to life!!! Claude, AJ, and Mike have been writing and rehearsing, and we have a new song called "Freight Train" added to the lineup. We will be debuting it @ the Cortland Youth Center on September 3rd. Please check the "GIGS" section for further info..
8-13-05-Hey everyone. Mike here. I just wanted to let you all know that AJ and I have been frequenly jamming and writing a bunch of new shit. I hope you all stay tuned, as we hope to rock your socks off in the near future. The new stuff is gonna be better than ever, and dare i say, alot heavier. Thanks to all you crazy people who support us and have supported us. We hope to see you soon.
7-12-05-INVAZION is on somewhat of a temporary hiatus. Due to the lack of a dedicated bass player, for at least the rest of the summer, we have been forced to take a break. Adam is working at Camp Owahta in Solon, and as such, has bowed out of the band during this time. This has happened before, but we have never let it stop us like it has this time. As a result, both Mike, and Claude have started other projects to keep busy. Mike has joined local band Scarred Theory (formerly Nonetheless), as their temporary bass player; while Claude has formed an as yet un-named side project with local guitarist Mike Goyette. Claude will be playing drums in this endevour as well.
5-05-INVAZION is no longer practicing at the Cortland Youth Center. We are now in a rented room above Ultimate Music. We have used the Youth Center since our inception in July of 2001, however their growing list of bands who want to share their music room, along with their constant meetings, and rearranging of the schedule has forced us to seek an alternative practice space. This is a new chapter in the INVAZION story, and will hopefully lead to bigger, and better things.
