Legal Separation
Oftentimes potential clients come in and are interested in a legal separation rather than a divorce.  Its rare that a legal separation is recommended.  Even though it does provide a Judgment separating all of your legal obligations, you remain technically married.  So in the event you ever wanted a divorce, you would need to go through the entire process again, spending the same amount of time and money.

We do recommend and strongly consider legal separation in the event one party must remain on the medical insurance of another, whether due to age or pre-existing condition; or in the instance where the religious beliefs of the parties strongly discourage divorce.  All aspects of the parties positions must be carefully reviewed.
