COVENTRY CITY
Coventry have been known over the years as a team who are bound to struggle, but boss Gordon Strachan has changed his mind and wants to win the league this year. "I want to win the league and then maybe become England boss or Brazil boss" said Strachan "I can't wait to leave Coventry, they are shit, they never even win anything. I want to be manager of Manchester United or Liverpool or Brazil". With an attitude like that, maybe Coventry will surprise a few people this year. They have some good players, especially forwards, but they lose every game you see on teletext but somehow stay up at the end - something dodgy going on there I reckon. Coventry are a very boring team and their defence is shite, which is why the PREMIER LEAGUE PREDICTIONS team thinks they will be lucky to end up 15th.

PAUL WILLIAMS Paul Williams was voted the fattest player ever in a recent PFA poll, and the former England Under 21 International claims that his weight helps his game. "If I wasn't fat, then all the forwards of the other team wouldn't think I'm hard" said Williams "I like to eat about 6 baking apple pies, 4 roasted chickens and squirty cream to wash it down, 2 minutes before every game. I remember once in the Bash Street Kids, when Fatty was playing football he ate loads of food and filled up the goal with his tummy so noone could score, that is exactly what I am aiming for". Williams is a good tackler, and likes to knock all of the opposing players down with his big belly. He is Coventry's outstanding defender, because all of the other ones are terrible, like Richard Shaw. He hopes to finish his career in the Major Soccer League in the USA. "It would be nice to be the slimmest player in the league for a change" he added.

STEVE FROGGATT Steve Froggatt is an outstanding striker, but has been frustrated at the lack of chances to play up front recently. "I played up front one game and scored 5 goals, but then these new guys came, and their dads were friends with the manager - so they always play up front now and I have to play in defence, which is rubbish." Steve had his happiest time as a player at Wolverhampton Wanderers. "I loved it at Wolves, because we were called wolves, which is my favourite animal. We also played in gold which is my favourite colour." Steve will be hoping to get his chance this season, and it may be his form which keeps the sky blues up.

COLIN HENDRY Frustrated by the lack of first team opportunities this year, Colin claims that he is easily the best player at the club. "I played against Brazil for Scotland, and we only lost 5-0" He boasted "and when we play world cup at lunchtime I always win". Despite this impressive record, he is constantly ignored by boss Gordon Strachan. "If this goes on much longer I will have to ask for a transfer" added Colin "I'd probably even consider going to Bradford - if the price was right. I really just want loads of money so I can stay indoors for the rest of my life and play 'International Superstar Soccer: Pro Evolution' on the Playstation - It kicks arse - especially in four player mode".
