Biography of  Herbert Prelog

 

           Born in Áustria in 1924.Participated in both individual  and group picture galleries on a number of European countries. During 1949 moved do Brazil,

where he lives in Nova Friburgo since 1962.Starting in 1970 completely dedicated himself to his painting,using technic and  emotiveness to work towards his life conception which main scope has to do with men and nature, looking for a way of picturing in the landscape of Nova Friburgo,the baroque style of the state of Minas Gerais In Brazil,the marinas of the state of Rio coast as well as the mountains and forests of Europa,all that is beautiful and pure, treating the themes with an unprecedent sensibility and a touch of enchantment.

           During 1972, in Europe, achieved extraordinary success when showing brazilian  motives in Viena and Munich
