| Welcome to all of our friends! How exciting it is to be in our new school, St. Francis de Sales! Mrs. Redmond and Mrs. Barca are very nice. They are teaching us to listen, share and take turns. . |

| Our classroom is filled with many wonderful toys. We like to do puzzles, play with pegs, build with lego blocks, and play in the sandbox, too. We also have two pet frogs, Skippy and Jiffy. They live in a red tank. It has two apartments, and they can swim back and forth through a tunnel. We love to look at the frogs,, but always remember not to touch the tank. We wouldn't want to scare them! | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Nusrsery Rhymes are fun to recite. Mrs. Redmond makes us laugh when she builds a wall of blocks for Humpty Dumpty. He keeps climbing the wall, and all the king's horses and all the king's men (and even Mrs. Redmond) cannot put Humpty together again! We enjoyed making a craft about Humpty Dumpty. We tried to trace the lines on the wall, and color his funny face. We couldn't wait to take it home in our folders. We also like "Hey Diddle, Diddle, and "The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe." | We enjoy making crafts in school, and especially like to bring them home in our folders to show our moms and dads. We also like to play games. Throwing and catching a big soft basketball is lots of fun. Sometimes we even try to throw it in the "basket." | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| We have a special bank in school for collecting pennies for the poor. The bank will be open all year. We accept other coins, too! | ||||||||||||||||||||||
