Welcome to Nursery School

March   Highlights
Spring is here at last.   We had lots of fun making our lions and lambs.
We colored the lions and added some brown wool.
We colored the lambs and added some white wool.
We talked about farm animals and jungle animals.  Where do they live and what do they eat?      "Old McDonald Had a Farm" is one of our favorite songs.
We used cookie cutters and green pint to make shamrocks. We learned that St. Patrick was a kind man who taught the children how to make the sign of a cross using a shamrock.  We say prayers everyday before snacktime. We especially enjoyed bringing home a shamrock shaped lollipop. A funny song is "All the Pigs Wear Big Green Wigs on St. Patrick's Day."
Before we start our work and play each day, we take attendance and update our Clifford calendar.  We enjoy counting, and reciting the days of the week.  This month Clifford, the big red dog, is flying his kite with friends.

Lent is a time to get ready for Easter.
We talked about the story of the Good Shepherd
The shepherd loved his sheep very much.  When one got lost, he went out to find him.  Jesus loves us very much, too.
Thank you for giving so generously in your mission boxes.
