"Notting Hill, Gattaca, Men in Tights, Titanic or The Godfather," he lists off the classics. We're having a quiet Friday Night in, which is quite rare. Normally we go and catch a movie, go to a club, see a band. I dunno, there's always something to do in New York.

"Hmm, tie between Notting Hill and Men in Tights," I toss up, I know that Taylor doesn't want to see Notting Hill, "Notting Hill," I decide, "Haven't seen that yet and I hear it's good,"

"But don't you think that Men in Tights is so much more beneficial to our education?"

"C'mon, put on Notting Hill," I grin. Grumbling and moaning to himself he very reluctantly puts in the Notting Hill DVD and throws himself into the couch.

"You'll like it,"

"Yeah, right,"

"No seriously. It'll be close to your own heart,"

"Gia, what on earth?"

"Yeah, imagine yourself as Julia Roberts,"

"Hey, hey, that's a low blow"

"You're the celebrity that keeps embarking upon these bad relationships, or in your case no relationships, and you suddenly you stumble across this gorgeous book shop owner in down in the village. Think about the possibilities!"

"Hey, I never said I wouldn't watch it. Just that I wouldn't be happy about it," he argues, "Besides, if nothing else it'll be a good Julia Roberts perv fest,"

"'Atta boy!" I grin and start up the DVD. We are both lulled into silence by the scenery of Notting Hill flashing before us. At the point where "William" and "Anna" are climbing over the gate into the garden I hear a sigh from Taylor. A split second later he swivels so that he's lying down on my lap facing the TV. I place my arm lightly over the curve of Taylor's body that is below his chest and above his waist. I smile down at him, "Is it bad?"

"Not too bad," he admits reluctantly, "Spike is the redeeming factor,"

"Point taken," I concede and resume watching the movie. But before I get back into it I look down at Taylor's blonde head, he's lying so peacefully there. I run my fingers through his hair and do it repeatedly so that it ends up that I'm stroking his hair. I look at him for any indication that he wants me to stop but on his face is a small, content smile and a complete engrossment in the movie.
