I gently stroke her hair and watch her breathing slowly. I know that I want to be with her until my dying days. I know we've only been officially dating for five months but I know that I'll be doing the right thing. I love her so much it hurts. I've made it with her up until now. She's put up with me up until now. We'll be fine.

Her eyes flutter open,

"Gia?" I ask, my voice still hoarse from sleep,

"Taylor? You okay? How come you're up so early?"

"I wanted to wait until later to ask you but I can't wait,"

"What?" she asks sleepily. The sun's rays stream in through the blinds and illuminate her face. Her brown eyes gaze up at me and the waves of her face fall carefully around her shoulders. That smile is something I want to wake up to forever,

"Gia, do you want to get married?"

"Taylor?!" she gasps. She is caught unawares, but then so am I. She pauses and looks at me as though she is searching my face, "Of course," she answers. She grins and snuggles closer to me,

"You didn't even bother to get me a ring,"

"You don't deserve one," I laugh,

"Hrmph," she mumbles, "You don't deserve me,"

"I know," I smile with my eyes closed. My arms are wrapped around her,

"But I deserve you even less," There's a pause, "We'll be fine though, right Taylor?"

"We'll be fine, Gia. We'll be fine,"
