| Nicole's Story My name is Nicole. I am 18 years old and 25 weeks along. When I found out I was pregnant I was already 6 weeks along. My mom was upset at first but by the end of the day she was actually happy. Now she's totally happy, she's always buying him cute outfits and other stuff and she talks about him all the time. It's funny too because now she sings lullabys to my belly and claims she's singing to him. My boyfriend was happy from the first day I told him and all he talks about is Elijah this, Elijah that and how he wishes he was already here. My friends were all very happy for me and not one negative remark came out of any of their mouths. So that really makes me feel good to know I have friends and family by my side for support. Well actually, when I first found out I was pregnant it was by a home pregnancy test (the 2 pink lines were clear as day) and I just knew I was pregnant because I had all the symptoms and I just had the feeling I was pregnant. Then later that night week I went to the emergency room because I was spoting dark bood and I freaked out. They did an ultrasoud and I saw the little heart beat then they told me I was 6 weeks along. It brought tears to my eyes when I saw my baby's heart beating. At first I didn't know exactly what to do, but then I got to thinking and there really was nothing I could do because my family, my boyfriend and I were all totally against abortion. I don't believe in taking a life that didn't ask to live and plus abortion to me is like murder (in my own opinion) I think if you are grown enough to have unprotected sex then you should be grown enough to face being responsible and taking care of your child (born & unborn). Now to this day, I am glad I had my head on staight and decided to keep my baby. Elijah will do nothing but bring total excitement to me and joy to my life. I can already tell just by felling my little angel kicking and moving around that I will be the happiest ever when I finally get to hold him in my arms and love all over him.
