Q: What is Yaoi/Shounen-Ai?
A: Shounen-Ai literally means Boys Love. If that doesn't give you a hint, usually shounen ai is the more 'romantic' and fluffy, kissing and hugging male x male relationships.
Yaoi stands for Yama nashi ochi nashi imi nashi. Which translates to "No climax, no resolution, no meaning" Yaoi is the sexual relationships of two males. Also known as slash to many.

Q: What is Shoujo-Ai/Yuri?
A: Shoujo-Ai literally means Girls' Love. Like Shounen-ai, Shoujo-ai is more of the 'romance' and fluff stuff, involving sweet kisses and cute stuff in girl/girl relationships.
The word Yuri literally means "lily", and is (like many flower names) a relatively common Japanese name. Also, Yuri is a common term for girl/girl sexual relationships. Basically, more explicit and...well, sexual than shoujo-ai. Q: Who made this site?
