We have seriously come a long way.  It's been five years-fall of 1997-since I ran the Scepter of Ruin the first time, back with Kevin and Kyle and Stan.  They put their touch on the very young campaign setting, and it's been tempered now and formed into permanency by Ben, Benji, Nicole, Dusty, and Bobby.  I don't have words to say how much I've enjoyed playing with all you guys.  There are no better players on the face of the planet.  Ben and Bobby, among others, have taken an interest in taking the reigns of DM and helping to shape post-war Precopia.  I gladly hand the job over.  It's as much their world now as it is mine, and with their help this could be a published D&D module in the next couple of years.  We're already writing new prestige classes and established nationality rules for whatever part of Precopia you come from.  It's turning into a very optimistic game.

The War is over now-and we won-but it looks like the West needs new heroes now worse than ever.  An ancient Certanan prophecy said that "The Sword that smites shall not be lay down until darkness be cleansed from the world."  Trevor still wields Dreadbane, and if the prophecy is true, then it isn't all over yet.  According to the best Precopian sources, there's still a lot to be done, like finding out who the near-supermen were who just attacked Sentrania out of nowhere and almost captured Port Celandra.  The war may be over, but Precopia is no less turbulent because of it.

We lost a few players (the person who played Ash just sold out on us one day), but we've gained a LOT more.  Up to the fall of 2002, the male/female ratio of Tower of Dawn players, past and present, was 9/3.  I'm happy to say we've got a lot more women interested in playing, just because the world needs that feminine touch.  A world looks a lot different if it's run exclusively by men through its entire history.

Precopia is weary and chaotic right now, but with all the new influences it's getting there's no doubt at all that it's got a bright, bright future.  Happy fifth anniversary, everyone!!

Welcome to Precopia.  Now that the ideas are finally starting to roll into my head it seemed like a good time to finally put
The Tower of Dawn on the web.  The idea had been fermenting back there along with my ambition and motivation, and once it had grown its own sentience from pickling so long it started to escape.  Hmph.  So much for doing better in college.

Precopia is all of us involved-Me, Nicole, Stan, Kyle, and Kevin; Aeric, Talia, Devon, DeShende, and Steel; King Stephen and Lord Brian, Drakmoor and Mendel...all of us.  We're all a part of the land and it's people-and the land is a part of us too.  Good luck escaping it....once you visit the Tower of Dawn you can never really leave...

Tough shit.  You're stuck.

Hmm..where to begin...Ok,I'm Nicole, contributing player/author (as if you didn't read that at the top I'm sure).

Wyatt has, I guess you could say, put me in charge of bouncing ideas off of him for the Elven communities of Precopia. I'm not quite sure where I plan on going with it but I'm going to try my best.

Wyatt's been hard at work on the site so I encourage you to keep checking in often. It gets updated on an (almost) daily basis now. (I should know, I'm attention deprived over here) Just kidding.  So stop in.

Or I'll kill you
