| Comments: I love Lopmon,
because he combines my two favourite things; chocolate,
and pink! I wanted a different sort of pose for him. I'd drawn him years ago, but it looked very simple and I wanted him to look more dynamic. I'm hoping I achieved that effect. The ears gave me a lot of trouble, I just couldn't get the right length. The anime doesn't seem to be consistent with the length of Lopmon's or Terriermon's ears. The colour's isn't exactly right either, he's supposed to be more chocolate, and the pink is supposed to be more of an ice-cream pink. But I had to work with the materials available I messed up his eyes. They should be a lot bigger, and he looks like he's looking away from you, when he's meant to be looking straight ahead. That'll teach me to leave the eyes to last. I also thought his horns/cones were a little plain, so I gave each one a single ring. Of course, getting the placement and size of those horns right was also tough. It's one more area where the anime is not consistent. I guess I must like this pic if I'm willing to have it as the background for the main page to the Digimon Gallery, and it is good, but there are a few things I'd like to change. But I have a rule, I never change a drawing once I've finished it. I have to obey that rule, or I'd never stop working on anything. |
