How is it possible to know God's will? By knowing His Word. For the Word of God is the will of God. To know the will of God, you've got to go back to the Word. If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
One of the things God said we have is His righteousness. Add to that God's redemption, God's justification and God's wisdom.
I Corthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.
When are we going to walk up to the cashier's window of God and cash in? In the next life we won't need it. We need it now to live a life which is more than abundant, making us more than conquerors, living with a dynamic and an enthusiasm that makes life effervesce.
Jesus Christ, God's Word says came to paralyze the power of the adversary and to redeem us from the adversary's bondage and to restore God's righteousness, so that we could stand in the Father's presence as brothers of the second adam, Jesus Christ, without any sense of sin, guilt, defeat, frustration or fear. Jesus Christ came to make the born-again believer a new man, a new creation, a new breed, that would stand in the presence of the Father under the blazing light of God's love and of God's grace, ministering to God's people on a horizontal level. That's why the record in 1 John 4:4 declares that God in Christ in you is greater than he that is in the world.
Truthfully when you live in all the greatness of the name of Jesus Christ and walk in that name, the adversary can't tell you spiritually from Jesus Christ. You look like him spiritually; your clothed like him spiritually; your filled with God's life like him spiritually; you are branded with his name.
Galatians 6:15-17 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
He is the all in all of the all of you. You even smell like him spiritually--and to the believer, that's a sweet fragrance. The power of the mighty Spirit of God that raised Jesus Christ is yours, and through your lips and your believing the Word moves and it conquers. THe new creation inside of you is Christ himself, the living Word of God.
When your in fellowship with God, you enjoy the benefits of a restored righteousness, liberty, freedom. And your fellowship with God is richer than the first Adam ever dreamed of. For your fellowship is eternal life.
We are completely complete in all the fullness of the completeness of Christ Jesus. We are God's children. We are God's new breed of men and women. All that is beneath the feet of the victorious risen Christ Jesus is beneath ours, God's victory is our victory. Jesus Christ did not come to earth for himself; he came for us. He did for us what no other man could have ever done for us. Now what belongs to us in Christ Jesus requires nothing but to believe God's Word and to take to ourselves what he made available. How does a believer receive all this from God? Just by believing and receiving it, thanking Him for it. You see, it's thanksgiving that throws open widely the doors of God's heart. It's praise to God that keeps those doors open.
For years religion has taught us to hang in there, struggle, groan, and cry away. Just hold on or pray through. But struggling, groaning, and crying are simply works of unbelief. And the unbelief is from the ignorance of God's Word and the ignorance of men's sonship rights in Christ Jesus. There is absolutly no place for a believer's begging and crying; that dishonors the Father because God has given you and me dominion. God has given you and me the wisdom to carry it out with the legal rights to not only use the name of Jesus Christ but to live with the power and the glory of that name. All you need to do is believe. And being in the family of God, you have a legal right to everything every other son in the family has a right to.
The name of Jesus Christ is used in prayer to the Father because Jesus Christ is our mediator; he is our intercessor; he is our advocate. He is the mediator of the unsaved sinner, the intercessor for the saved one, and the advocate for the sinner out of fellowship with his Father. It is God's order to pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
You see, your judgement of yourself or any judgement or man's opinion is of no value whatsoever. God's judgement is the one that's of value, and God's judgement is learned from the Word: it tells us who we are and what we are and what we shall be. |
