your fitful sleep,
I am the cool autumn breeze that flitters through your hair
as you lazily stroll by a tranquil pool,
I am the cool, light, cleansing rain, that falls on your eyelids,
to mix with your tears, and wash them all away.
I am the laughter of the little child,
as it fills the room with all it's innocence and promise.
I am the stronghold as the winds whirl around you an
threaten to rend you in two.
I am the ocean flowing over your feet,
while the moon casts an ethereal glow on your face,
and the stars catch your eyes,
and makes them sparkle like diamond gateways to your soul.
I am this and more.
I will not forsake you,
I will not leave you vulnerable like a newborn babe.
Mountains you will face in your journey,
I will not move them,
but give you the strength to climb them.
Valleys you will face on this quest,
I will not fill them but cast my light so that you may
see the path.
So journey on, for there is a destination at the end of this road.
The road may be long, it may be short.
One thing for certain, it will be hard.
Take comfort,
be at peace,
have the True Faith,
and know that I am the cool breeze,
I am the rock to hold onto,
I am the warm rays of the sun,
I am the ocean waves,
and I am your eternal friend Jesus Christ...
