My name is Tim Thompson. My wife Tammy Jo and I were married in December 1985. We began attending a small independent baptist church by invitation of my wife's brother. After we had been there only a few weeks a guest speaker came and preached on the "Gnashing of Teeth in Hell". I went to the altar to avoid that awful place. Some say you can't get saved for "fire insurance" but I want to tell you I did just that. My wife rededicated her life that same day and God has been so good. We have not looked back. That was May of 1986.
In 1995 a guest speaker came to our church and preached on the "Qualifications of a Pastor". God called me to preach. My pastor told me that if I was called to ministry I better make sure my wife was also. That advice has always stuck with me . When a church calls a pastor they are also calling his wife and children. Therefore I include them here as an important part of this website.

TAMMY JO-Tammy Jo also felt the call. She is a tremendous helpmeet to me. She is a wonderful mother. She loves God's people. She has taught Sunday School, organized Vacation Bible Schools, and led Ladies' Meetings. She loves the Lord's work. She also is a wonderful singer and loves to share her gift with others, singing praises to our Lord.
God has blessed us with five beautiful children.
DUSTIN (aka Dusty)-Born Jan. 1, 1988. Now 19, Dusty is a fine young man. Hard working, strong, and responsible. He's a great babysitter and playmate for his younger siblings. Dusty's desire is to serve the Lord as a missionary. He plays guitar and is currently our praise and worship leader of our home bible study group.
ASHLEY-Born July 9, 1990. Now 16, Ashley is a wonderful big sister. She loves to cook. She has been helping Mom with babies, changing diapers etc. since she was 7. Ashley absolutely loves witnessing. She has a real heart for lost souls. She's learning the mandolin and piano and like her mom is a great singer.
DANIELLE-Born April 3, 1996. Now 10, Danielle is our creative artist, she loves to paint, draw and color. She is our shy and timid child. She wants to be just like her sister Ashley.
LINDSAY-Born Feb. 6, 1998. Lindsay, now 9, is our live wire, her mind and body are always going about 100 miles/hour. Lindsay is very motherly. She has been her little brother's helper since he was born and they're only 18 months apart. Her desire is to grow up, be a wife and a "mom of 6 babies".
ETHAN-Born Aug. 6, 1999. Now 7, Ethan is our He-Man. Mr. Tough guy. 100% Boy. Bugs, trucks, guns, and picking on his sisters are his main interests. He loves spending time with his big brother and they have a ball together.

After being called to ministry God directed my wife and I to Elohim Bible Institute in Castile NY. We then were with Church Planters to America of Almond NY. I preached and Tammy Jo sang at many churches in Western NY, and Western PA representing the mission.
Then due to some unique circumstances we moved to North Carolina in January of 2000. Ultimately God led us to start a cleaning business. God has blessed.
A wise man once said that if God calls you to preach and you can do anything else do it. Having a successful cleaning business is not our ultimate goal. Our cleaning business is simply our "tent making" The burden God placed on our hearts is overwhelming.
In the Summer of 2006 Tammy Jo and I bought a motorcycle. This led us to get involved with Bikers For Christ. (Check them out at www.Bikersforchrist.org and check our local chapter at www.OBXBikersforchrist.bravehost.com)
Through the ministry of BFC we have developed a tremendous burden for the "throw aways" of society (those that others often ignore because of their looks, lifestyle, etc.). God has placed the desire on our heart to start a Biker Church here in NE NC reaching out to Bikers and others regardless of their looks, lifestyle, habits, etc. God's desire is that all men be saved.
