If you are a metro-area member and can be in St. Paul on short notice for lobbying or attending meetings, you could make the difference in getting our legislation moving and passed. A group of Pre-1969 Teachers gathered at the Bloomington Armory on June 11 to learn about how it is possible to fund a solution to our problem when we keep hearing; "Where will the money come from?" We can assure you that money or the stock market or deficits are NOT a problem for our legislative solution. We have a list of excellent responses which will be distributed to you and we urge you to contact one of the Coordinating Committee members for the list if you do not get it by July 15. You may use the ideas to help you communicate with your own legislator.

The Coordinating Committee will meet again on Thursday, July 17 with an agenda including an update from Joe O'Neill plus reports and strategic planning.
