The Virus
Part 3
(The Rangers are in the Hideout, trying to find a way to beat Vinabot)
Bobbie: Patricia, what possibilities do we have to bring Voice back?
Patricia: A 5%.
Michael: Great. In other words we are finished.
Bobbie: Knock it off Michael. We can't give up. We have to restore the electricity.
Maria: I'll go up and see what happened.
(She leaves the Hideout. She goes upstairs and enters the Facilities. The lights are out.)
Maria: What happened here?
Man: Just a black out. We sent someone to restore the electricity.
(The lights suddenly turn on again. The computers are back online. Maria runs to the Hideout again)
Maria: Everything's online again. It was nothing but a usual blackout.
Bobbie: Excellent. Let's keep going. Michael, show us what happened in here while Jack is reading his e-mail.
Michael: Activating now.
(He activates the simulation program. On the Monitor a picture of the Hideout appears. Everything seems fine until the computers track down an unusual entering their files. The signal turns out to be a virus. It starts affecting the computers, causing them to explode. Then it affects the Voice. His computer explodes and his vital signal fades out. The program shuts down)
Bobbie: A virus!
Maria: It affected all our systems.
Patricia: It entered here without have been tracked by our defence systems first.
Bobbie: But that's impossible unless...
Patricia: Unless?
Jack: Guys, I just read this e-mail. George said that what Sector D was working on was some kind of the evolution program of the prototype program for the lost fragements.
Maria: A second lost fragements recovery program. This is why they didn't report. They didn't really work on a new project!
Bobbie: Vinabot found the negative file of the program and used it against us. This is why it wasn't tracked down. It didn't seem to be enemy signal.
Michael: We still don't know how to erase the virus and recover our powers.
Maria: We know. We can use the lost fragement recovery program. The virus erased some of our files but some clusters are not emtpy yet. We can run a scan on those clusters and find whether there is anything left in there.
Bobbie: Good idea. Let's do it.
-Angel Grove Downtown
Silo: This is fun!
Vinabot: Yes, it is. Keep going Silo. The Rangers are helpless. There is no way they will stop us this time. I will start by destroying this miserable city. What others haven't succeeded I will make it happen. This planet will finally pay for what it has done to my life. DESTROY ALL OF THEM!
(Silo starts blasting again)
-Voice's Hideout
(The Rangers are working on the computers)
Patricia: Everything's ready.
Maria: I hope it works.
Bobbie: We all do. Open it.
(Patricia presses the "Enter" key and the program opens)
Patricia: Run fragement scanning on main computer.
Computer: "Scanning"... "Scanning Complete. 112002 lost fragmements found. Recover?"
(Patricia presses on the "OK" button with the mouse)
Computer: "Recovering... 112002 fragements recovered"
Bobbie: OK, that worked. What about the virus? We can't let it be here. We must delete it.
Maria: There's one way but it's dangerous for our systems.
Bobbie: Go ahaid.
Maria: The virus was made from the lost fragements recovery program. It's structure is similar to this of this program. It's like having the same program splited in two parts.
Bobbie: Get to the point.
Maria: We can use the program to somehow absorb the virus.
Bobbie: But...?
Maria: If the virus proves itself stronger than the program and our computers, all our files, including the program, will be absorbed by the virus.
Bobbie: We'll have to risk it.
Maria: Patricia, let me take over from now on.
(Patricia gets up and Maria sits on the seat in front of the computer)
Maria: Ok, let's hope this works.
(She starts pressing the buttons of the huge keyboard-console. Time is going on. After 20 minutes Maria finally breaks the silence)
Maria: Ok, now pray.
(She closes her eyes and presses the "Enter" button. The lights turn off and the siren goes off)
Michael: What's wrong?
Maria: The computer drains power from the other systems.
(After a while everything comes back to normal)
Michael: That's better.
Maria: Oh NO!
Patricia: What happened?
Maria: The program has been deleted from the hard drive!
Bobbie: Then we failed!
Maria: Maybe, maybe not. If the prossesing was completed before the program was deleted, then we may stand a chance. Let me try find the morphing files.
(She presses some buttons on the console. Suddenly the computers power up again.)
Bobbie: We did it!
Maria: Yes we did it. Not only we erased the virus from our computers but we restored our powers.
Michael: We can now morph.
Patricia: We can't use the Megazord but we are still the Digital Force.
Jack: Let's do something good.
Bobbie: Right.
All Rangers: DIGITALIZE!
Bobbie: Download Digital Force, Red!
Patricia: Download Digital Force, Pink!
Michael: Download Digital Force, Black!
Jack: Download Digital Force, Blue!
Maria: Download Digital Force, Yellow!
Angel Grove Downtown
(Silo keeps destroying the city. Suddenly a red beam blasts Silo's back)
Silo: Aow!
Vinabot: What was that?
Bobbie: That was us, Vinabot!
Vinabot: Power Rangers?
Patricia: Yes, we are back!
Vinabot: That's impossible! The virus has erased your powers!
Jack: I think you are wrong.
Vinabot: You are all wrong if you think that you will stop my plan! Silo, smash them!
Silo: Right Away!
(He starts chasing the Rangers trying to step on them.)
Patricia: It's not going to be easy to get him down without a Megazord.
Bobbie: Then we need more power. DIGITAL EXTERMINATION WEAPONS, POWER UP!
(Nothing happens)
Jack: What's wrong?
Maria: It seems that the files of the Extermination Weapons are in another program, one that we couldn't restore.
Bobbie: Then we must use only what is in the prototype progam. Digital Blasters, Power Up!
(The Rangers take out their blasters.)
Silo: Not so fast Rangers!
(he blasts them)
Bobbie: Ohh!
Patricia: Eyyyy!
Maria: Ahhh!
Jack: Ayyyy!
Michael: Oooough!
(They all fall on the ground)
Michael: Bobbie, we need new strategy!
Bobbie: Right. Split up and keep him busy!
4 Rangers: Right!
(The Rangers get up and split up. They run toward different directions)
Silo: Huh? Come back!
Vinabot: What are you waiting for? Destroy them!
(Silo starts chasing them)
Patrcia: Hey you overgrown butthead!
Silo: What?
(Silo turns to her and is ready to blast her. A yellow beam blasts his back. He turns to Maria)
Maria: What's the matter? Caught you by surprise?
(He is ready to blast Maria, but a blue beam blasts his back)
Jack: I'm here!
(He turns and is ready to blast Jack, when a black beam blasts his back. He turns to Michael)
Michael: I'm standing right here, man!
Silo: That's no joke!
Jack: Ok, guys. Bring your firepower to his eyes!
Maria, Patricia and Michael: Right!
(The shoot at his eyes. Smokes come out of them)
Silo: OH! I can't see!
(Bobbie is standing away from the battlefield ready to fire the final blast)
Bobbie: Ok, now the final shot.
(As he is ready to fire, Vinabot lands in front of him)
Vinabot: Ranger!
Bobbie: Vinabot!
Vinabot: We finally meet Red Digital Force Ranger. If you think you can ruin my plans, you are obviously wrong!
(He blasts Bobbie. Bobbie falls on a wall behind, totally destroying it)
Bobbie: AAAAAA!
Vinabot: Don't even try to stop me. You will not succeed. I am unbeatable!
Bobbie: Yeah, right.
Vinabot: You FOOL!
(He blasts him again. Bobbie falls on the ground.)
Vinabot: This game is coming to an end. You are losing. I am winning. Kiss your planet bye-bye...
(As he is ready to blast again from his cannon-arm, Bobbie ducks and fires with his blaster at his cannon-arm, causing it to explode)
Vinabot: AAAAH! You... you were lucky this time, Digital Force Ranger. Next time, you will not escape! Mega thrusters!
(He flies to the Spaceship. Bobbies falls on his knees exausted. The other Rangers run to him)
Maria: Mr Tohmson, are you ok?
(He raises his eyes to her's)
Bobbie: I am now.
(In the Spaceship, Vinabot enters the control room.)
Snipegrand: Boss, are you ok?
Vinabot: Do I look ok?
(He gives his arm to Mechpart)
Vinabot: Fix it. GIVE FULL POWER TO SILO!
(Back to Earth, Silo starts glowing. He blasts five buildings with one shot)
Michael: That's not good...
Jack: Of course it isn't. Without a Megazord we don't stand a chance.
Bobbie: Then we can do only one thing... SPLIT UP!
Voice's Hideout.
(The shadow of a man appears. He is walking toward the consoles. He holds still for a second, looking the battle at the monitor. He then continues his way to the consoles. He presses some buttons. The computer starts loading a program.)
Computer: Recovering and loading Digital Force Zord program... Zord program recovered and loaded.
Shadow: Good...
-The Battlefield
Bobbie: My Chip is glowing!
Chip: Red Battleborg is now available.
Jack: Mine two!
Chip: Blue Battleborg is now available.
Maria, Michael and Patricia: Yeah!
Chip: Black Battleborg is now available.
Chip: Yellow Battleborg is now available.
Chip: Pink Battleborg is now available.
Patricia: But how?
Bobbie: No time for that. We must stop this thing. Ready?
4 Rangers: Ready!
Bobbie: WE NEED DIGITAL FORCE ZORD POWER, NOW!
(The Zord holding bay gate opens. The Zords are online. They walk toward the door and start flying.)
Bobbie: Let's Go!
(The Rangers teleport on the Zord's cockpit.)
Bobbie: Ok, let's kick some serious butt! Let's form the MEGAZORD!
4 Rangers: RIGHT!
(All the Zords fly into the sky!)
Computer: Please, type the Digital password.
(Bobbie types something)
Computer: Password accepted. Starting Megazord formation.
Bobbie: All right! Load the Megazord program, now!
Computer: Loading...
( The Pink and Yellow Zords transform into hands. The Black Zord devides itself into 2 parts to form the legs .The Blue Zord transforms into the main body. Finally the Red Zord tranforms into the chest and the head. They all combine)
Computer: Loading complete.
(The face is being uncovered)
All Rangers: (From the cockpit) DIGITAL MEGAZORD! ONLINE!
Silo: I will destroy you Power Rangers!
Patricia: Yeah, right.
(The Digital Force Megazord gets battle position. The monster grabs the Megazord. The Megazord breaks free and punches the monster. The monster jumps in the air and kicks the Megazord)
Michael: Hey!
Bobbie: Michael, full power to the Blaster!
Michael: Got it.
(The Digital Blaster appears on Megazord's hand. It fires but Silo is uneffected. It shoots again, hitting Silo's right leg.)
Silo: OW! You'll pay for that!
Bobbie: Enough! Let's DELETE HIM!
Computer: Delete Program, loaded
Silo: You'll never defeat me!
All rangers: Digital force, hiya!
(The Megazord arms a main blaster on its chest and, in a digital backround, it shoots a beam of digital numbers. The beam blasts the monster which start glowing green and black. After a while it is destroyed in a huge explosion)
-Spaceship
Vinabot: NO! This is not over, not by any means Power Rangers Digital Force! The first step has been walked. It is now nothing but a matter of time before your total destruction!
-Voice's Hideout
(The Rangers are sitting, discussing)
Bobbie: We did it this time.
Michael: We were lucky. But I don't know if we can continue doing this.
Maria: What do you mean?
Michael: I don't know if we can still be the Power Rangers. I mean, when we had the Voice we knew what to do, how to fight. But now we are entirely alone in this. We are nothing but a team of four programmers and an animator. Ordinary people of an extrordinary life. Can we save the world?
Bobbie: Of course we can! The fact that the Voice is gone forever, must not let us down. This world lays their hope in our hands. We can't give up! We must continue our fight. True, we are a team of four programmers and an animator. But the Voice chose us! I'm pretty sure he knew what he was doing. I don't know if Vinabot is an alien monster or anything else. What I know for sure is that he is a computer genius and in that case only people with our knowledge can stop him. We will fight to the end.
Maria: We still have a lot to think about. Someone revived the Megazord. We recovered the main morphing program but we know we couldn't recover the Megazord program. The Voice has locked it. So someone managed to get to this... fortress and use our computers. Someone knew how to use all those stuff and knew all the passwords, passwords we don't know. And this someone wasn't the Voice.
Bobbie: That means that we still have a lot of work to do. But we better get some sleep first. We are all tired. Let's go home now and we get back to work tommorow.
(The other Rangers node positively and leave)
-Maria's Appartement, 2:48am
(Maria is sleeping, sweat, seeming to have a nightmare)
Maria: N...No... Mum... Dad, what's...the matter? No... Leave him... Guns... Xenon... Xenon... XENON!
(She wakes up screaming the name of her long lost brother. Then she bursts into tears.)
