Does the Bible teach the Doctrine of Justification by Faith Alone?
The doctrine of Justification is at the very heart of the Gospel itself.  In it, the essential question of all religion is answered:  How can a sinner be accepted before a righteous and just God?  The question is not a light one at all.  History has shown that this issue is so important that a group of men who came to be known as the Reformers were not willing to back down letting the truth of Justification by Faith Alone be known to the entire world.  In contrast to their view, the Roman Catholic Church retorted with her dogmatic statements on Justification saying that it is something that is essentially earned by "cooperating" with the grace of God through the observance of the sacraments and leading a life of good works in order to merit justification from God.  Which view is right?  Which view is the one that God has revealed to us?  In this debate between Reformed Protestant Moses Flores and Roman Catholic Benjamin Rosado, one can explore the views for themselves.  The purpose of this debate is to inform the reader about each side's perspective and to gain a clearer understanding of each proposed view.  Enjoy and God bless.
