I am a 25-year-old responsible, loving and caring, trustworthy nanny. I have over seven years of professional childcare experience, specializing in infant/toddler care, but including the care of all ages (through 18). My work experience includes in-home childcare, daycare (learning center) work, live-in/out nanny positions, youth ministry, and residential psychiatric treatment for adolescent boys.
I believe in responsive and nurturing childcare: responding to children's needs as they learn and grow, while helping and encouraging them to figure things out on their own. I do not like to use spanking as a form of discipline, and would much rather use alternate choices, consequences, and time outs as a result of negative behavior.
