Something Cyanide
after all the darkness we've both seen, a single light breaks from the seam. from the bottom of language, i'm speaking your name. a tongue made so lame, and a heart built with shame. i held so tight in fear the chill would wash your body away. your body away.

bring me the light of day

bring me the light of day
something cyanide
all colour's swept away

after all the harshness we've both been, we searched so long for the divine gleam. from the cities of angels, my spirits still wane, like the body that craves, and the daemon that prays, i held you up high, i wish you you stay. wish you would stay.

we lay in autumn fields. as the patch becomes surreal, i breathe in the scent of you, and so release impending dejection. as its blown into the gloomy trails of candle-light. and storms and stars burned so bright for moments on such an unholy night.

something cyanide
i don't deserve you today
something cyanide
i don't deserve you today
something cyanide
all skies are now dead grey
